John Frieda Day 2 Revival

Beauty Bag Dolls I have a brand new launch from John Frieda. New to the line is the Day 2 Revival. This line includes everything from Dry Shampoo to a Wave Refresh Spray. These products are great for me because I honestly love my day to hair but it could always use a little extra something to give it bounce. I have two product for review from the John Frieda Day 2 Revival line. First  I will review the Wave Refresh Spray followed by the Dry Shampoo. According to the John Frieda website the Day 2 Revival can even help you on Day 3, 4 and beyond. I did experiment with this and here are my findings.

I absolutely love the John Frieda Day 2 Revival line! It is a must have in your beauty bag and something I cannot live without!

For me washing my long hair can be a pain so the invention of dry shampoo has changed my life on day 2 and yes sometimes day 3 hair of course after that I have to shampoo and start again. When my hair is straight I usually have to shampoo at the end of day 2 however when I have curled my hair I can wait until the end of day 3 to shampoo. When my package arrived I was on day 2 curly hair so I reached for the John Frieda Day 2 Revival Wave Refresh immediately and sprayed some in. It smells nice hydrated my curls. I followed the instructions on the bottle of course you use this on your dry curled hair and mist through, then just twisted my curls around. They looked fabulous after I was finished and it only took 2 minutes I even took the John Frieda Day To Revival Dry Shampoo sprayed a bit in my roots and it absorbed some oil and I was good to go back to work. This package was the perfect surprise on my doorstep when I got home to have lunch. After I got home that evening my hair still looked great and when I woke up the next morning I repeated the steps and I got trough the work day again. At the end of day 3 I did shampoo and start again only I did not set curls and decided to keep my hair straight and test the dry shampoo a bit more. Day two in the morning my hair when straight never seems right until I use dry shampoo and I used the Day 2 Revival by John Frieda and it looked so good. Smelled fresh and not oily at all. I always shampoo my hair when straight at the end of day 2 but this time I decided not to and I used it in the AM on day 3. This dry shampoo truly did the trick cleansing my hair and adding volume. I looked great all day I did not dare push to day 4 its not in my nature and shampooed at the end of day 3.

I LOVE the John Frieda Day 2 Revival Line is amazing and just what I needed in my life! This is a Beauty Bag Must have for all hair types and help you extend your style and save your hair from unnecessary  shampooing/styling daily. A 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

Drunk Elephant The Littles

Some quick information about Drunk Elephant is that this brand has removed what they call the "suspicious six" from their ingredient deck which includes Essential Oils, Drying Alcohols, Silicones, Chemical Screens, Fragrance/Dyes and SLS. After just reading that I was intrigued and wanted to try them out because lately my skin has been acting up. It goes from being oily to super dry within hours and then the unpredictable acne breakout appears taking days to heal. Every great skincare routine does start with a great cleanser and the Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser is amazing. It dissolved on my makeup and didn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry just soft and clean. I used this each night and followed up with the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum directly on my face and pressed it in. This did tingle a little bit the first 3 nights I applied and never tingled after that. It sank into my skin nicely and I waited about a minute before applying my Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum (which I used both night and day) This is safe to use around the entire eye area and truly brightened my eye area making me look rested. Each night and day I topped off the serum step by taking a scooped of the Lala Retro Whipped Cream in my hand an mixing it with the Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil because I need extra hydration. In the mornings I topped that with the Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense SPF 30. In the AM I omitted the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum and instead used it with one pump of the C-Firma Day Serum and one pump of the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum. Everyone needs to adjust what they use when for their own skin type and your personal routine, this is just mine and my results were jaw dropping. I looked in the mirror each time after just applying my Drunk Elephant skincare routine and my skin was NOT irritated or more stressed than before. There was NO redness, stinging or rash like some of my other products. I completely committed to just using the Drunk Elephant The Little collection and it made a difference in just 4 short days. My skin after just 7 days was bright, glowing and hydrated. There was not any oh dry skin right now and four hours later its oily, it was just normal. I didn't have any acne breakouts and in fact they had healed up and my skin was balanced for the first time in a very long time! The Drunk Elephant line has even healed up some old acne marks I had that I thought would never go away! I honestly began to tear up because my skin had improved more in 7 days with Drunk Elephant that it has my entire life of buying and trying everything on the market. Getting rid of the suspicious 6 really calmed my skin and made it healthy and glowing! I am beyond thrilled!

Next is a worldwide launch of the It Cosmetics Confidence in A Neck Cream. This is just another WOW product. It feels so rich on your skin and looks orange in the jar but it is clear when you apply it all over your neck and décolletage.  According to It Cosmetics Confidence in a Neck Cream "helps address the appearance of the signs of aging for the neck and is formulated with seaweed extract, hydrolyzed elastin, hydrolyzed collagen, and sodium hyaluronate!" This neck cream is amazing it absorbed quickly without feeling heavy or tacky which for most thick neck creams that can be a big issue. While I did not have this long enough to give you a true result I can say my neck is hydrated and the skin in my neck and decollate looks tighter after using this for about 3 days twice daily. The next two products are my must have and the fact that they are included in the It Cosmetics TSV is awesome! The Bye Bye Lines Foundation is something I have been using for about 2 years now (it launched at another store two years ago) and I am addicted this by far is my top 3 foundations from the It Cosmetics brand and during fall and winter I find myself reaching for it the most. I have full reviewed it two years ago but here are some current thoughts. I don't know where to start but to say that I do love this foundation. It is so lightweight on my skin and it almost seems as though it absorbs into my skin just like a serum but left behind coverage that was amazing! I was happy to use this all over my face even though I tend to have acne prone skin this did not cause a breakout instead it helps with the fine lines and wrinkles, it leaves your face feeling hydrated and soft unlike other liquid foundations that feel heavy and thick this is light weight and feels like nothing. I can use both the light and medium shade now even during the winter months. This foundation comes in 7 shades including Fair, Light, Medium, Medium Tan, Tan, Rich and Deep.  I love that I could get sheer coverage and medium coverage depending on how much I needed that day. Another amazing feature to the Bye Bye Lines Foundation is the luminosity it leaves on your skin, you look like your glowing without even needing to apply a separate highlighter.  This is truly my one stop shop foundation and its in a liquid form which makes me so happy because finding one for me is difficult until this one.

NewBeauty TestTube January 2019

A lot of full size goodies and a few deluxe size that are absolutely perfect. I am so happy to share my thoughts with all of you about the NewBeauty TestTube for January 2019. Ring in the New Year with NewBeauty TestTube January 2019 there are so many new must haves! 

The first product in the January 2019 TestTube is the Lumify Redness Reliever Eye Drops.  I love this little bottle of eye drops. I just drop them in and my eye look bright and radiant. Next is a full size Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Brightening Serum. This serum is lightweight and just what my skin needs right now. It truly brightened up my skin while hydrating it and reducing the fine lines. My jaw dropped when I saw that the Perricone MD was included because this is full size and retails for $69.00 which is more than the TestTube costs which to me makes this sample subscription box beyond worth it. Next is my must have right now it is the Doctor Rogers Restore Healing Balm. This has become my go to for my cuticle's, they are so dry it truly hurts until a rub a little of this healing balm on. It truly heals and when I got a little burn taking some holiday cookies out of the oven I reached for this balm and it calmed down the pain and sensitivity.  The Hello Activated Charcoal Epic Whitening  Fluoride Toothpaste was in the NewBeauty TestTube January 2019 I was excited because I have been wanting to try this brand but for whatever reason didn't until the TestTube. I am so glad it was included this toothpaste is awesome! It freshens breath while whitening your teeth. The next full sized sample is so unique yet practical! It is the Olika Birdie which has a spray and 10 wipes to take with you on the go and sanitize what you need to like the weights at the gym. This is the best little invention.

As you may know if you have been reading my blog post I love masks so much so when I opened up the NewBeauty TestTube January 2019 and saw the Yensa Pumpkin Turmeric 2-in-1 Radiance Polish Mask (another full size product) I was excited to try it out. I followed the instructions and when I rinsed this off I was wowed. My skin was so soft and the more I used it (3 times a week) the better and smoother it looked. The next product (also full size) was the Livon Labs Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C. This was a 1,000MG of Vitamin C and 1,000MG Essential Phosholipds which help with your skins glow. You dissolve the packet in about 1 to 3 ounces of your favorite cool liquid and drink it down in one shot on an empty stomach. My favorite way to take this was right in the morning before my shower. After my shower I went on to eat some breakfast make sure to wait 15 minutes before eating I waited around 30 minutes. Next is the Georgette Klinger Argan Oil Cleaning Gel. I truly loved this because it just cleansing my skin in such a gentle way, my face never felt stripped or dry and it took off all of my makeup. This was a deluxe sample size along with the final deluxe sample, Hot Tresses Moisturizing  Rehab Leave-In. I just applied this to my damp hair and style has usual, this left usual dry ends of my hair hydrated and soft.
