ApotheCARE Essentials Firming Eye Cream

I am so excited to share with you my thoughts on a new eye cream from a new favorite brand of mine ApotheCARE Essentials they have a new Firming Eye Cream and I just adore it. First I must say this brand is fairly new to me I have been using their shampoo and conditioner (see my Instagram post here)  as well as their phytoYOUNG SPF Firming Day Lotion click here for review. The ApotheCARE Essentials Firming Eye Cream is from their phytoYOUNG collection. I love an eye cream but what I love more is one that works and one that is gentle. This one is all of that so please do read on to learn more.

This eye cream is perfect for antiaging and for anyone with sensitive eyes! You will get the skincare benefits you need with ApotheCARE Essentials Firming Eye Cream. (pictured on the right)

The  ApotheCARE Essentials Firming Eye Cream is super gentle even on my very sensitive eyes so if that is an issue for you this is the eye cream for you. The ingredient deck is described as follows "Blackberry Leaf, included at active levels, stimulates skin's moisture barrier renewal and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines under eyes and wrinkles." My experience is that it keeps my eye lids hydrated but no oily and it helps with the fine lines as well as the dark circles. I did see results with the under eye circles fading on day 4 and the fine lines looked great after about a week. I used this both AM and PM and the eye cream absorbs quickly so if your using eye shadow after applying just wait a few minutes until it is fully absorbed.  It is very light and only takes a minute or less to sink into the skin. You need very little so this jar will last around 90 days. I am in love and this is a beauty bag must have that gets a 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

The ApotheCARE Essential SPF Firming Day Lotion has quickly become my must have each morning before putting on my makeup. We all know how important SPF is and the SPF 30 in the ApotheCARE Essential SPF Firming Day Lotion has been wonderful. Its not oily or greasy and did not cause me to have any breakouts or irritation. With acne prone sensitive skin I always worry about SPF and once I am used to one kind getting me to switch is a challenge. This was scary but I had no issues. I apply two pumps (that is also suggested) and my skin did drink it in. My skin also felt  smooth and ready for makeup application. After using this daily for a week I did notice my skin was brighter and very smooth and soft. I can expect more results as the day goes by. Some more backround information is about ApotheCARE Essential is that this Firming Day Lotion is made with   "Blackberry Leaf, included at active levels, stimulates skin's moisture barrier renewal and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles." It is also  formulate free of "Parabens,  artificial dyes, petrolatum and  propylene glycol. As  well as being  formulated without phthalates. I love this brand the skincare is very gentle and effective. I am giving this a 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream

Beauty Bag Dolls the review I am about to bring to you is truly a personal one because it involves Retinol. Now if your like me with sensitive, acne prone skin that tends to be oily to dry depending on its mood you hesitate when it comes to retinol. Although I know I need it, it has always scared me because in the past if has hurt my skin instead of helping it. That being said please put all of your worries and common misconceptions behind you because Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream has broken through all of my stereotypes. Drunk Elephant describes A-Passioni Retinol Cream as "Retinol reimagined. A-Passioni Retinol Cream is a clean, cutting-edge formula that combines 1.0% vegan retinol with nourishing, superfood-rich ingredients to dramatically diminish the appearance of fine lines, deep wrinkles and sun damage revealing a vibrant, younger-looking complexion." This is the absolute must have for anyone who wants Retinol in their skincare routine but has sensitive skin. The Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream works on my sensitive skin and I am so happy! My spring skincare reboot is in full swing!

When I reach for the Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream I take a look in a mirror and of course I use the retinol in strategic areas. For me I like to use it on my forehead to smooth the fine lines, on some dark spots and acne scars on my face as well as the pesky laugh lines. Now the Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream is to be used one or two times a week AM or PM gradually increasing your frequency to every other night and then every night as your skin tolerates it. I personally use this twice a week for 2 weeks and then I use it about 4 days a week there after. The recommendation from Drunk Elephant is to use a pea-size amount or less to clean dry skin which is what I did. You can also mix it with your favorite Drunk Elephant Cream or Oil I used it the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum included in the box of A-Passioni Retinol Cream and some of their Protini Polypeptide Cream. After the first application I was thrilled not to have any irritoation or redness at all (that was a first for me with Retinol) Then I used it a second time that week and had no issues. After my third application I woke up in the morning and just noticed my skin was a little dry after the 4th application dry and flakey so I used a thicker moisturizer and did not have an issue. I did continue to increase the use of the A-Passioni Retinal Cream to about 4 days a week and I had great results. My forehead fine lines had truly diminished and my acne scars were faded which meant I didn't have to use as much concealer. I can finally say that I LOVE a retinol cream and its all thanks to Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream! This is apart of my Spring Skincare Reboot! This is a beauty bag must that gets 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

The Hair Food Dry Shampoo is everything you need in a dry shampoo. Smells amazing and leaves your hair feeling and looking clean! This is an absolute beauty bag must have!

Dry shampoo for me is an important product in my hair care beauty bag because after you hit the gym you need to refresh your hair if you don't have time to shower right after. The Hair Food Dry Shampoo is amazing for this because not only does it smell wonderful but it works at getting the excess oils out of your hair and on day two hair it extends your style and saves you from over washing your hair! Hair Food offers awesome scents like citrus and coconut that are absolutely wonderful. It never leaves any residue behind and my hair looks so fabulous and has added volume without any added weight! It never makes my hair feel heavy or overloaded with product. I just adore the Hair Food Dry Shampoo and in all honesty this is one I am addicted to. I have tried many and most work but they still do require extra cleanse and they leave your skin feeling tight, dry and your eyes irritated and now Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser has all of them beat all still being gentle. The best cleanser in my beauty bag is the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser it is cleanser and skincare for my sensitive skin and it rocks!

Drunk Elephant thinks of everything when creating a product and when they bring it to us its always perfection. When you open your cute green box you will immediately see that the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser comes with a little spatula to scrape out the right amount of melting butter which also sanitary compared to using your fingers but you also notice that it is magnetized and attaches to the lid automatically so you will never lose it. I adore that detail its so important and then they include a sample size of their Bamboo Booster. We will get to the booster in a minute. The Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is described as "an innovative cleansing balm that melts all traces of dirt, makeup and sunscreen from skin. Gentle enough to be used around the eye area, it quickly transforms from oil to milk upon contact with water. Skin compatible Slaai effortlessly removes even water-resistant formulations and is free of PEGs and essential oils." You use this on dry skin and massage it in. You will see if just melt off all of your makeup and I mean all of it. Everything from long wear foundation to water proof eye liner and mascara. It truly just amazes me and the best part of my makeup removal routine now because I just melt off my makeup with the Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter cleanser and rinse it off with warm water and I am done I don't need to double cleanse at all no need. My face is just clean in fact I did test it out. I took out my favorite toner and a cotton pad and used all over my face with other cleaning melting oils excess makeup reside is found on my cotton pad if I do not double cleanse however I am thrilled to report that the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser took off all my makeup the toner just toned my skin and my cotton pad was a wet white cotton pad with no makeup residue I was thrilled. Now as I mentioned the Bamboo Booster that is include as a sample size but this little product is mighty! Twice a week in the morning instead of using my Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser I sprinkle the Bamboo Booster onto the Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter and it turns it into an exfoliator which feels really wonderful on my skin and leaves it feeling clean and looking bright. In fact the charcoal is helping with my acne which is an absolute plus! I love the combination and I am excited for a full size of the Bamboo Booster to come out.

Over all the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is a Beauty Bag Must Have that gets a 5 $$$$$ from me as well as EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA! It is so good for all skin types and for me with sensitive acne prone skin that is a lot! I have been using it every day since it has arrived and my skin feels hydrated and soft from a cleanser!
