Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes

Bonjour Beauties,

I have been busy at work with my other love for beauty Influenster. Remember how I told you that every now and then I get beauty product to test well I reviewed Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I am glad I did!

These are the most wonderful lashes I have ever tried and I have tried a few in my years. I never even bothered blogging because it was all so negative what I had to say that I felt bad until now. These are so wonderful and easy to use but for me the fact that they look NATURAL is the BEST part. They don't look like spiders on your eyes.

I really tested them by wearing them to work. I woke up did my makeup as usual and then applied these with the glue that was provided and it look so good no one even knew I was wearing them. I actually prefer them with little to NO EYE MAKEUP because why not let the lashes you always dream of having do all the work for you. In fact a photo of a before and after will be included with no other eye makeup on.

I got them out of the package removed them from the tray. Measured them to my eye and remember to cut them down to size and to cut them on the outer edge for a natural look of graduated lashes. Apply the glue wait for it to get tacky for about 30- 40 seconds and then apply as close to the lash line without getting it on your lashes. It truly is that simple but do practice I did much better on the second eye then the first and by the time I did it the next two day I was a pro. Practice makes perfect.

I give the Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes a 5 $$$$$ FOR ITS ABILITY TO OPEN YOUR EYE AREA UP AND LOOK SO FABLOUS YET NATURAL. THEY ARE LIGHWEIGHT AND REUSABLE WHICH MAKE THEM WORTH THE COST UPFRONT WHICH IS NO MORE THAN $3.99 AT YOUR LOCAL DRUGSTORE. THESE ARE DEFINATLY IN MY BEAUTY BAG BECAUSE HEY I CAN PUT THESE ON AND NOT EVEN NEED ANYTOTHER EYE MAKEUP!

As Always

Helpful Tips On When to Replace Makeup Brushes

HAPPY WEEKEND READERS,

What better way to start your weekend and pre spring cleaning then with your makeup bag(s) and/or drawer(s)?

We all know that you should replace makeup when it smells off or stops working, (3 months for mascara, 2 years for powders, etc. see my blog about that @ http://aguidetowhatsinsideyourbeautybag.blogspot.com/2013/03/pre-spring-cleaning-alert.html but did you know your beauty tools have a shelf life too?  Read on for 5 common beauty tools you might have in your bathroom and how often you should replace them.
  1. Makeup Brushes
Quality makeup brushes will last a long time with proper care and regular cleanings, but should be replaced if they’re broken or not working correctly.  Replace your brushes if you notice excess shedding, a change in shape, broken ferrule, or are unable to get them clean after years of use.
  2. Loofah
When was the last time you replaced your loofah? If you can’t remember then it’s probably time for a new one.  In the warm, wet atmosphere that is your bathroom, organisms like mold and bacteria can grow quickly and spread to your skin if your sponge isn’t changed regularly.  Dermatologists recommend you replace your loofah every 3-4 weeks as bacteria can grow in its crevices and it will lose its exfoliating properties.
  3. Pure Complexion Sponge (Konjac)
This new Asian beauty import is perfect for cleansing your face, but much like your loofah needs to be changed out regularly.  Replace this facial sponge once a month to keep your face happy and healthy.  Dirty facial sponges can encourage blemishes to pop up more frequently.
  4. EcoPouf
These mesh bath sponges are great for lathering up and are more resistant to bacteria than the loofah since they dry faster.  They can still harbor bacteria though, and should be replaced every two months.  If you want to keep your pouf extra clean, you can disinfect it with anti-bacterial soap every few days, and make sure you hang it to dry in-between uses.
  5. Hair Brushes
Like makeup brushes, a good hair brush can last a long time.  You’ll need a replacement though if too many rubber tips go missing or bristles start falling out.  To keep your brush looking great, make sure to pull out excess hair when you’re done styling.

Yes To Carrots leave-in Conditioner

HAPPY MONDAY Whats Inside Your Beauty Bag Readers,

Okay so maybe your not happy its Monday but look on the bright side my dear readers at least I am here with another review. This one is for our hair and maybe just maybe your having a bad hair day, which is why your Monday isn't so great. Well don't fret! Last year I found several products that were great and working for me (see reviews I have for Renpure and Tresseme Products). But like anyone I had gotten just bored and I am a self proclaimed beautyaholic so I went searching up and down the aisles at drugstores and department stores but nothing stuck out until I went back online to my favorite website where I spend hundreds of dollars and never get a "bad" product!

What I have been referring to is the Yes To Carrots leave-in Conditioner with Argan Oil. Now don't be intimated or scared. Trust me on this like so many of you have trusted me with the Renpure Orginals Aragan Oil I brought to you last year. If you are still using it GREAT I am too but I skip it about three times a week for the Yes To Carrots leave-in Conditioner. Three times a week after I shampoo my hair and skip traditional conditioner in the shower I come out towel dry my hair about 65 to 70 percent dry I have found that it being a little more wet is better for me and my hair length which is long. I grab the Yes To Carrots leave-in Conditioner and depending on your hair length for me the suggested quarter size amount is fine but not all at once. So I use a nickel size rub it in my hands (and yes it will be thick and strange at first) but start at your ear and work it down squeezing more into your hands as your hair drinks it up off of them! It is AMAZING! Just work it through from top to bottom using a little extra at the ends. After you worked it in style as usual. DO NOT RINSE IT OUT!
It is an organic product that is 96% natural and paraben-free. The organic carrots use are filled with beta-carotene which for me in this dry heat with this winter that will not quit dumping snow is just what my hair needs. To top it all off Yes To Carrots added argan oil and keratin to help soften and strengthen our hair. I have been using it three times a week now for a little over a month and it has worked miracles on my hair. It is so soft and strong that my stylist has noticed! Oh and I forgot to mention that is SMELLS so GOOD!

I give YES TO CARROT LEAVE IN CONDITIONER A 5 $$$$$ FOR ITS ABILITY TO REPAIR DAMAGED HAIR IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS. IT NOURISHES HAIR EVEN IF IT HEALTHY! MAKING IT SHINEY, MANAGEABLE AND STRONG! THE VALUE IS THERE AND AFTER YOU USE IT YOU WILL KNOW! ITS IN MY BEAUTY BAG & HAS BECOME A STAPLE!!

It costs $8.99 for a 6 ounces but it is worth EVERY DOLLAR! I did some research for all of you and www.yestocarrots.com is sold out but I found it on www.walgreens.com for you for the same price. I also suggest checking your local drugstores and Target because you never know. I personally have only ever found it on the Yes To Carrots Website and Walgreens website just a heads ups! For more info comment away and discuss!

Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm

HELLO HELLO My Gorgeous Readers!

It has been a minute since I have blogged but honestly I didn't find much that I really liked to blog about until now! The Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm I recently have been using is something positive that I wanted to bring to all of you.

There are two things that I am obsessed with nail polish and lip balm! Now since I have found the perfect nail products and are sticking with what works for now my quest for a great lip balm became my new addiction until now! My previous review of a lip product was negative I didn't want to bring you another one so here is a great one! The Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in the Nougat color. I wanted something fun but not over the top. I am so glad I got it because it looks AMAZING on me but most importantly if feels so good on my lips. It doesn't leave them dry or cracked in fact it heals your lips. They are moisturized but not to sticky like some glosses. I apply it about three times a day which is a lot less for me then other brands and I find that the pigment in the color does last I just personally love to reapply. It comes in 18 different colors I got two number 11 Nougat and number 05 Natural and I am glad I did.

It is a three piece lip balm system. there is built in brush that applies the balm. The balm sits in its own little pot. Use small strokes with the brush to build up the color. The Cailyn Cosmetics Website tell you to apply it twice but I have found perfect color with just one coat. The moisture in the balm is like no other and I can't repeat this enough with the type of harsh winter we have been having this season. The formula is so unique that it penetrates your lips helping to heal and prevent wrinkling, roughness and dryness.

The built in brush is PERFECT #05 Natural

Without further praise I give CAILYN TINTED LIP BAL A 5 $$$$$ FOR ITS ABILTY TO MOISTURIZE, HEAL, PREVENT AND OVERALL ABILTY TO MAKE YOUR LIPS FABLOUS IN ONE LITTLE POT THAT INCLUDES A BRUSH BUILT INTO IT. IT COSTS $19.00 AND IS AVAILABLE ONLY @ www.cailyncosmetics.com however it is worth every penny. I must also mention that the packing is very fun and unique just like their eyebrow gel lux I reviewed late last year.  FOR MORE UPDATE ON BEAUTY FAVORITES FOLLOW ME ON PINTEREST @ http://www.pinterest.com/seasaltandsand/ ON GOOGLE PLUS @ https://plus.google.com/u/0/114190252909807906846 and Twitter @ https://twitter.com/LoveAnna111
