Today I am bringing you something really special. It is the Emjoi Erase e60. I received it complimentary of Emjoi for testing and reviewing. My thoughts are my own and if you would like to an Emjoi Erase e60 of your own after reading my experice links to their website will be at the end of my review.
Now that I took care of the disclaimer we can get to the review. Let me start by saying I have never used and epilator before in my life so yes I was nervous but the thought of not having to shave for up to six weeks made me more curious than scared. The Emjoi I was sent is eRase e60 and it has 60 tweezer discs that removes hair in less time (BONUS who has extra time) It does legs, underarms, face and bikini areas. It also comes with a sensitive cover for delicate areas like your face. It has dual opposed heads which make it more comfortable and it removes hair from the root (I know sounds scary) but with two speeds and the fact that it can remove hair as short as 0.3mm made me feel comfortable. Keep in mind it is electrically operated (corded) so it wont run out of battery power in the middle of a session. This is a new model from Emjoi and they have been around doing this for a very long time so I am glad I could use this trusted brand as my first epilator.

Now I know what you all are wondering did it work and did it hurt? Well IT WORKS! I did it on one leg where the hair on my legs was a little longer because I was unsure if I should have it to short it wouldn't work then on the other leg I experimented and had the hair two days out. I prefer the two day out. It did not hurt all on the longer hair it hurt a pinch literally not bad at all and I don't like pain. Its nothing like waxing because your not ripping your skin with the Emjoi Erase e60 your just pulling the hair and the hair is what you want gone so why would you rip at your skin? I sure will never ever wax again after using a virtually painless Emjoi Erase e60 that did keep my leg hair free for 3 and half weeks. After about three weeks I used it again and they were still smooth my but in order to maintain the smooth I decided to use the Emjoi eRase e60 before the 6 week mark and this way I experienced NO PAIN after another treatment in 4 weeks or so I do only expect to use the Emjoi eRase e60 every 6-8 weeks from what I can see with my hair growth. If anything changes I WILL UPDATE you!
I do have tips to give you. Do shower before you epilate it helps open up your pores and if you exfoliate that even better it will make your skin soft and supple so removing the hair will be as pain free as possible. Everyone has different thresholds for pain and this one is for me on a scale of 1-5 a 1.5. It is nothing but I will note my threshold is high. I must also let you all know that I have super sensitive skin and the Emjoi eRase e60 epilator did not irate my skin at all. It just plucked the hairs right out leaving my skin smooth and silky. Remember to use this on dry skin that is free of any body lotions and fresh out of the shower works best! I did use it on the low speed setting so far and will start probably stick to that per the Emjoi guides suggestion for sensitive skin. High is recommended for course hair. I used the sensitive cover attachment when removing that little peach fuzz hair you get on the side of your face and that did wonders for my face. I have a better and smoother makeup application now!
