As a makeup lover I have never loved extra steps in my makeup routine on days that I need to be out the door and over the past few years I have become a lover of primers (I used to avoid them) It is hard to find a good one but the dermalogica Hydrablur Primer is one that I love to use not only before applying my makeup but to seal in my skincare before bedtime. The dermalogica Hydrablur Primer is described as a lightweight, non-greasy primer minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, mattifies against oily shine and imparts a silky, luminous finish to skin." The "H2ORelease Complex and Abyssinian Oil help provide intense, sustained release moisturization that locks in optimum hydration levels." For me a lightweight non greasy primer is a must since I have acne prone skin I do not want to be putting something I my skin that could be break it out. This is great for my sensitive acne prone skin it beautifully lays down a silky smooth finish that preps my skin for makeup application. All the while the Hydrablur Primer does not make my skin feel dry instead it mattifies against oil shine and leaves a hydrated feeling to my skin. I love this primer because it also minimizes my pores which makes my makeup look so much better. I like putting some on at night to seal in my skincare so it doesn't melt off onto my pillow. The fact that I want to wear a primer at night speaks volumes to how much I love this one, I mean hello the extra step doesn't bother me at all! This is a beauty bag must and a 5 $$$$$ for sure.
