Sally Hansen Color Quick

Hello To All of My Wonderful and Supportive What’s Inside Your Beauty Bag Readers!

I have been asked by some of you to test the Sally Hansen Color Quick Fast Dry Color Pens. These are nail polishes that are sold everywhere in several colors. I took your questions and hit the drug store and bought six of them. I could just stop after one because they seemed like something that was so easy and convenient. They had several colors to choose from and at around $7.99 each it seemed like a bargain compared to getting a manicure at the salon. I got home threw a few in my purse and then opened the Purple Chrome Color. It took a few clicks to get the polish going but other than that it seemed like smooth sailing. When on with ease dried in a few minutes. I did apply an under and top coat as recommended. I went on about my day as usual. However after just about 5 hours I noticed it was fading then by the next morning it had faded to a very light color of purple chrome and there were some chips in the polish.

 Nonetheless, I decided to remove it. I then went to work that morning with three of the pens in my purse so during a break I decided to paint my nails again. This my dear readers is a fun and even convenient nail product to have. However, after  polishing my nails on my break by the time I got home the same fading and chipping had occurred.

 The SALLY HANSEN COLOR QUICK FAST DRY NAIL COLOR PEN GETS A 2 $$ FOR IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT THE NAME OF THE PEN IS. IT IS FAST EASY AND CONVIENTENT HOWEVER THE COLOR FADES QUICK & IS NOT WORTH THE $8.00 YOU SPEND. IT IS ONLY GOOD IF YOU NEED A FEW HOUR NAIL COLOR AND YOU DON’T MIND DAILY REMOVER AND REAPPLING THE POLISH. IT IS GOOD IF YOU TEND TO GO FOR MATCHING YOUR NAILS TO YOUR CLOTHES BUT FOR ME I NEED SOMETHING THAT WILL LAST A LEAST A FEW DAYS!

My final note is maybe buy one or two and keep them in your bag for a quick manicure if you got invited to  a party or have something to do and you literally only have 5 minutes to do your nails. TRESemme Split Remedy Split End Sealing Serum

Well after about two and half weeks of testing this newest product I feel comfortable enough to share my thoughts. I have been testing TRESemme Split Remedy Split End Sealing Serum and I am using it on towel dried hair before I blow dry it. I never seem to use that matching shampoo and conditioner because I personally don’t find it necessary. I am also using this product every other day in combination with the Renpure deep treatment oil (see previous blog below for more information). I am IN LOVE with this serum. I don’t have any bad damage to my hair however, I see this as a preventative  product to use.

Must Have!

 If you have a few split ends here and there or if you have very damaged hair this stuff really does work. I saw a immediate difference in the feel and shine to my hair and over time after about 5 uses I saw a real difference, the few split end I did have were virtually gone. I mean the TRESemme Split Remedy Splint End Sealing Serum sealed them up. My hair looks and feels perfect. The texture of the serum is not runny like most it is not to thick its very luxurious. I suggest starting with one pump for medium length hair and one and half pump for long hair like mine. Shorter length hair should start with half a pump and see from there.

Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer

Well everyone I have a product to tell you about that I tested that really SCREWED me over. It’s the Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer. I will not talk around it or hide my feelings about this Pixi Primer at all. It is DREADFUL! I used it over a week ago and because what it did to my skin stopped me from testing any other product. I put on the Pixi Primer as  directed and at first it seemed alright it was not until later in the evening that it had began to irritate my skin and make me have a slightly swollen eyelid. For me that is more than enough for me to say that PIXI FLAWLESS BEAUTY PRIMER GET A 1 $. I know everyone is different and your skin may not react the way mine did. I cannot in good conscious tell my readers to buy this product. It would be a waste and a DANGER to spend $30 of your money to place this in your beauty bag to use. I wanted to warn all of you.

Happy Saturday! What’s Inside Your Beauty Bag Readers. I love Saturdays for many reasons, not only do I shop for new products but I like to test or finish up my testing of products that I have bought and tried throughout the past few weeks. Right now I am going to tell you about the Boscia Black Mask. This is a mask is mineral rich that peels off VERY easily after it dries but it delivers purifying and detoxifying results. It feels so rich and smooth while applying and after drying for about 20 minutes. When you peel it off you will be SHOCKED at what it finds that your cleansers and exfoliations left behind! I use it twice a week for the first three weeks then after I have been using it once a week and boy has my faced reaped the benefits! It is bright, clean and healthy. It has shrunk my pores and I swear my skin is firmer.


You will see IMMEDIATE RESULTS after you peel it off. It is of course parabon and  sulfate free. I am a lover of healthy non harsh ingredients in any of my beauty products that I test.
