Tangle Teezer Wide Tooth Comb review:

I have straight hair and to have wide tooth comb is a must have! I use it in the shower for hair mask because it distributes the product evenly. When I get out of the shower my thick long hair is always tangled even if I towel dry it for 30 minutes the Tangle Teezer Wide Tooth Comb helps me get all the tangles out with ease. I do not have to pull or damage my hair! Then I follow up with the mini brush and it's just great and a must have for all hair types. Tangle Teezer Mini Ulitmate Detangler review:

I am wowed by the Tangle Teezer Mini Ultimate Detangler I have been dedicated to, two other brands of detangling brushes but the Tangle Teezer is the best! I used right after I received it to detangle my wet hair and it was so gentle, I could not believe the performance, never tugged or pulled my hair. It glides through wet hair with ease. i did take it with me for touch ups on the go size it is a very convenient travel size and it performs just as well on the go for dry hair. JVN Hair

Update: Just wanted to update you on what is happening with my blog of course. I have for the past few posts been focusing on haircare products which is important to me of course and I like to share all of that with you. I am not sure, but I have been walking into my  Ulta Beauty stores and Sephora's and I am drawn to looking at haircare, it has been a pull in that direction, so I am going with it and sharing my finds along the way. I also have been changing up my skincare and that takes time to test and work into my routine. As far as makeup goes, I have been keeping things as they are except for lipstick and lip-gloss I am changing things up in that department. The skincare item I am currently trying out is brand new from the brand I have to keep it a secret at the moment but the moment I can spill the tea it will be most likely on Instagram first.

Augustinus Bader The Shampoo/The Conditioner & The Scalp Treatment

 Beauty Bag Dolls I am coming to you in the new year with a new review of some brand-new products that are dropping from the Augustinus Bader line. The launched is for haircare and I have been testing it out for a few weeks now. As far as these reviews for the Augustinus Bader The Shampoo/The Conditioner & The Scalp Treatment I was asked to review for Influenster on their website as well as Sephora.com which is what I did. I will link below my reviews that I left for both websites as well as my initial thoughts when my products arrived on Instagram along with of course a picture. Now as far reviews read on. 

Augustinus Bader The Shampoo impressed me after one use and with continued use I have had no issues. It lathers nicely and cleanses my hair well. It never feels dried out or weighed down. After the past few weeks, I have noticed less shedding and increased volume. This shampoo is a must. I also must use it with the Augustinus Bader The Conditioner for added hydration. The price point is perfect for the quality of shampoo it is honestly very affordable compared to other shampoos that do nothing. Do note that this shampoo has no scent which to me is not a deal breaker because my styling products are more than enough scent. 

Augustinus Bader The Conditioner is my favorite conditioner right now. It is unscented which means in never competes with my shampoo or leave in treatments it truly hydrates my hair without weighting it down and it detangles my hair which is a must since I have long hair. A quarter size amount is more than enough to condition from root to tip which makes the $55 price tag worth it. Give this haircare line a try it is really good.

Augustinus Bader The Scalp Treatment really works. You need to give this a try and use it consistently for at least two weeks. I noticed that my hair was shiny, and I had less breakage while using this scalp treatment. I do also use the companion shampoo and conditioner from the Augustinus Bader line, and it has made a big difference in my hair. I will be purchasing this line again to continue to improve my scalp and hair!

Looking at the chart on the Anastasia website I made the perfect choice for me with the shade so that I can use this year round and have a prefect sun kissed looked for my skin tone. A side note from me at only $35 this is the most affordable bronzer I own. 

This brand new cream bronzer from Anastasia Beverly Hills has quickly become my favorite cream bronzer in my makeup routine. 

My Review:

I am so happy with this brand new cream bronzer that arrived at my doorstep a few days ago. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer is amazing. It blends like a dream when you want an all over glow and contours perfectly. I use it with a brush to apply and it blends out beautifully and lasts all day. The matte finish is just what I needed with my combination skin type and  this #abhcreambronzer is better than my other bronzers and this one is super affordable at $35 versus my usual cream bronzer which is $50. I have stopped using that one completely and only use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer each and every day. It never smears even in the heat and humidity of summer. My review:

The Ole Henriksen Dewtopia 20% Acid Night Treatment is something you must have in your nighttime skincare routine even if you have sensitive skin because this treatment is very gentle yet effective. At night one I applied and noticed a slight tingle for only about 45 seconds on night two the tingle was less than 20 seconds and on night three no tingle.  Do not be afraid of the tingle because the results after night one was truly beautiful glowing skin. After three nights my face texture was smooth and after 10 days I had noticed a complete reduction in my fines lines and acne scarring. This serum is also more thick and milky than traditional runny serums that tend to be sticky or tacky after application, this one immediately sinks in and feels matte on the skin-I love it since my skin is more combination/ oily type. You need to try this formula of acid treatment because it is gentle yet so effective at giving you results. When my bottle gets half way I am running to Sephora not walking to repurchase. Its a must have!

I am beyond in love and impressed with this serum. It is by far the best serum I have tried. I have nothing but positive results in the dark spots I have. In fact they have become non existent and that is something that I have never said before. This is a must have and worth the $62 price tag. I have no complaints or issues and my skin can be sensitive. Do note that this does contain 10% vitamin C and is plant derived squalane. This is vegan but delivers results faster than any other product I have tried that has costed me even more money. This is a beauty bag must have.

I am in love with the Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester CCC+ Ferulic Brightening Complex 20% Serum. In the two and half weeks that I have been using this serum my skin has completely changed. It is brighter and it has a glow to it that I noticed within just 3 days of use twice daily. After the past two weeks my skin has begun to truly improve, the lines and wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead have completely softened and in all honesty around my my eyes my wrinkles are not even noticeable. I love the Original Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester but this one with the CCC Ferulic Brightening Complex 20% serum is even better because it goes to work so quickly with real results. My skin had no bad reaction and I am going to continue to use it and will be repurchasing.

I love setting powder but finding a great one is now done since my Influenster voxbox arrived. The Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder is amazing. This is an up to 11 hours wear setting powder that has for me personally delivered 15 hour wear. It is waterproof and helps to really set my makeup on hot days and rainy days. I am beyond impressed with the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Custom Finish Powder Foundation. I had stepped away from powder foundations for a long time and now I am in love with this! It is truly medium coverage when you use it dry but if you wet the white side of the applicator included and apply it wet you will get full coverage. When I apply it wet I don't need concealer if I apply dry I do use a little concealer and my favorite is the Shiseido one I am a full review of the concealer I love here which also from Shiseido. I tested this out this foundation for over a week and I never got a breakout and in fact it helped control my oily skin by keeping me matte. The shade is a perfect match which shocked me and I wear my makeup for at least 15-18 hour days and this did not budge. Always looks natural and resisted creasing and cracking unlike other powder foundations. This one is my number one choice and I will be repurchasing it before I run out in about a month.

My must have foundation is the Smashbox Studio Full Coverage 24-Hour Foundation that I received from Infuenster complimentary in exchange for my review! Hands down the best full coverage foundation I have used! 

My new favorite foundation has arrived from Smashbox Cosmetics. I have been using this Smashbox Cosmetics Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Foundation since it arrived and the coverage is out if this world amazing covers everything from acne to dark circles with very little product. Combine it with their primer and I never needed to touch up my foundation even after an hour 18 day. This foundation is hands down awesome! It truly feels weightless and controls oil and shine which my combinations skin type is prone to. I love that it is a matte finish too but isnt drying my skin out.

This complimentary voxbox from Influenster has made a difference in my life because I have now found 3 products I absolutely love! 

My new holy grain concealer does exist! I have been looking for the perfect concealer (and foundation) for a while now thankfully I received the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Concealer complimentary thanks to Influenster VoxBox and now I am in love. Finally a concealer that matches my skin tone and I don't have to mix and it cover all my imperfections like acne scars and dark circles with just a small amount. It never feels heavy and lasts all day until I take it off!
This is a serious concealer because the day it arrived I was struggling with some blemishes and when I used it, the next day when getting ready for work I applied and I looked in the mirror and didn't even remember where the pimples were this Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Concealer is that good! This is a medium to full coverage in my opinion and its so perfect for my combination currently more oily skin type! I also highly recommend their foundation and setting powder!

Finally a foundation that is oily skin friendly, medium coverage, has SPF, has a skin tone match to the T and lasts all day long. I have been searching for this foundation my whole life and now thanks to the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation with SPF 30 I am taking my makeup game to a new level! Since my complimentary Influenster VoxBox arrived I have been using this foundation every single day. It covers all my imperfections from acne scars, new pimples to even a sun spot! It also does not budge! When I apply this foundation at 6AM (I do love to set it with their Shiseido Synchro Skin Invisible Silk Loose Powder) it does not budge even through summer heat and humidity! As I mentioned I have oily skin and this foundation took the challenge like a champ all while protecting my skin with SPF 30! My face looks fresh and feels soft (I know odd thing to say about your skin after applying foundation but so true) at 6AM , Noon and 7PM when I get home! I highly recommend this foundation and it is my new MUST have! Thanks Influenster for this complimentary VoxBox!

A truly light weight setting powder does exist and it comes from the Shiseido line. Their newest product is the Shiseido Synchro Skin Invisible Silk Loose Powder and it has quickly replaced all of my other loose powders because it works and its so light weight and it never gets cakey or chalky looking like others. I love how it sets my foundation/concealer and I pair it with the other two Shiseido products (foundation and Concealer)  I received complimentary from an Influenster VoxBox. The loose powder leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth, I am telling you it will blow your expectations out of the water about loose powders!

HudaBeauty Resting Boss Face Waterproof Setting Spray Ultra Matte Finish

I have been using this for well over 3 weeks now since the day after it arrived on my doorstep and I am thrilled. My makeup routine always included a setting spray but most of them left me feeling sticky, tacky and my face was down right wet for a while before it set my makeup. HudaBeauty describes the setting spray as "an extra-hold setting spray for the ultimate matte and waterproof finish in a non-aerosol spray." They also note that this has fragrance. Now I have never used a setting spray that was not scented so that the HudaBeauty Resting Boss Face was did not surprise me however it is the most scented setting spray I have ever tried. Now anyone who is super sensitive to scent this is not for you I was worried about myself however after spritzing it on and following the instructions I noticed that for me the scent lingered for about 10 minutes. That is longer than most but for me personally its not a deal breaker. For me this is a truly matte formula that does not dry out my skin which is what I need since I am oily and acne prone, I am very choosy about what I spray on my face. I used this everyday and never did I breakout or have any skin sensitivity issues. I am just thrilled to finally have a setting spray like HudaBeauty Resting Boss Face Waterproof Setting Spray Ultra Matte Finish that is a matte finish and that actually works. It keeps your makeup in place for hours and hours. I never need to touch up or see that any of makeup has melted off my face and with how hot and humid its been getting this is what my makeup needed. This is a beauty bag must have that gets 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA! I could not take a $ off for the scent because for me its not a deal breaker however I do want to note yet again if you have any sensitivity to scent this is not for you.
