HIDE Skin Booster Tinted Serum

Hello Beauty Bag Dolls and Happy Spring! I have been away for a moment but do not fear I have been testing a lot of new products and one of them is from my favorite foundation and concealer brand HIDE now I was lucky enough to test out their skin booster. This genius product is everything for me. It is available in 20 shades. I know choosing a shade online can be intimidating, but HIDE makes it easy because their shades are very forgiving and I can be up or down a shade in fact I can be at least three of the shades and never make a mistake.

In fact this is a duel review about HIDE's Skin Booster Tinted Serum and how both shades porcelain and vanilla are a great match for my skin tone. First, HIDE hands down has the best Skin Booster Tinted Serum on the market. I have never tried something that is so light on the skin yet covers every imperfection with ease. I would say this this light to full coverage because it is buildable. It feels like a Serum just like it says and it is Tinted like a lightweight foundation. The ingredients are good for your skin hyaluronic acid, squalene and niacinamide. Now, I found it to even my skintone and keep my skin hydrated. The finish is glowing yet very natural. I personally wore it as a medium coverage and with a bit of HIDE's concealer it was full coverage for me. This product in itself is a go to right now when my skin needs a natural finish and it was a perfect product I took for Spring Break vacation. The shades were also forgiving and matched my skintone before I got a little natural tan and my faux tan. I cannot get over how easy it is to pick a shade and I truly believe I am at least 3 shades on the HIDE shade chart. The forumulas for the HIDE Skin Booster Tinted Serum is good for my skin and when I take UT off my skin is soft and feels hydrated which not something I experienced with other skin tint type products only with HIDE which is why the get a 5 $$$$$ and are a Beauty Bag must have.

My newest Beauty Bag must have is the HIDE Skin Booster Tinted Serum.

I know everyone has come to love my advice on application. The HIDE Skin Booster Tinted Serum is easy to apply with just your fingers and that is how I apply it for my medium coverage but for me this is buildable so when I add more I have found using a damp beauty blender is best. Do not use a brush but please do buy the HIDE Skin Booster Tinted Serum it is the best one on the market!! 🤩

Acids Done Bright Smoothing Skincare Set

HIDE Foundation & Concealer

 Beauty Bag Dolls I am so excited to bring you two new reviews. I teased last week on TwitterTwitter a few times that I was searching for new foundation and concealer and by the end of the week I had both in hand and went to work testing out both for, four days but in all honesty I was so very happy with the performance of both by the end of the first day and the application and coverage was just what I needed. I know I am rambling but I am just that excited to introduce all of you to HIDE. This brand was kind enough to partner with me and send over two of their most popular products the foundation and concealer both are formulated without phthalates and are not tested on animals. HIDE Foundation and Concealer are two beauty bag must haves. The packaging is absolutely 💯!

The foundation is oil free formula with a natural finish and is medium to full coverage. I used one pump for medium coverage and pump and a half for full. I found that less is more which is great. This also good for all skin types and with my combination skin type it did not bother or irritate my skin, nor did it cause any breakouts. It felt so light on the skin and matched me perfectly. It is available in 20 shades. With using just one pump I got perfect coverage it immediately Hide from view any imperfections like acne scars or small blemishes for more coverage I added more however when I paired it with the concealer I found I needed less of the HIDE foundation and just a small amount of their HIDE concealer. For me the foundation is my new must have go to and works great applying it with a brush or damp beauty sponge. I am not someone who uses my fingers to apply foundation or concealer so I have no opinion about that. Also tested using both the HIDE foundation and concealer with a primer and without and you can get away without using a primer because this is a longwear foundation that did not crease, Crack or settle into fines lines nor did it enlarge my pores. The HIDE Foundation is a Beauty Bag must have and gets 5 $$$$$ from me the price and performance is out of this world it $30 and only sold on HIDE website.

Now for this awesome HIDE concealer I cannot believe how little you need and how great the coverage is. It is absolutely so light, I never experienced a truly weightless concealer until trying HIDE. It is exactly how HIDE describes it hydrating, weightless build able and oil free. This for me is full coverage with just a few dots or swipes on your face where you need it. Whether you have blemishes, dark circles, hyperpigmentation, acne scars etc this will cover it up and give you the coverage you always dreamed of before HIDE concealer came into your makeup routine. I could wear this alone all over my face if I am in a rush and don't have time for the full routine which would for me would have to include the HIDE foundation. I cannot say enough about this concealer it erases from view my dark circles on mornings that I went to bed late but still was up before 5AM it never creased or cracked and stayed on like the foundation for 14 hour days and only came off when I took it off. This HIDE concealer is what I have searched for and now have in combination with the HIDE foundation it's a dream team duo. I personally apply this with a damp sponge because its my personal preference you can play around and see what works for you. The HIDE concealer is available in 20 shades and costs $26 which is affordable because I would pay more for a concealer with how well it performs. I mean it even brightens my under eye so of course it is a Beauty Bag must have and gets 5 $$$$$.

Splurge or Save: Drunk Elephant VS Neutrogena

 Happy Saturday Beauty Bag Dolls I am back with a Splurge or save post for you and it is from two of my favorite brands Drunk Elephant versus Neutrogena. The two products are one's that I use all the time and I have reviewed both on my blog and I am a longtime user (I have been using it for four years) of the Splurge product Drunk Elephant T.L.C.  Sukari Babyfacial and I have been using the Save product Neutrogena Skin Glowing Facial Treatment for a year now. Now while the two products are very similar and for me do the the same thing, exfoliate my skin Weekly and both leave my skin feeling soft and deeply cleansed, each have positives and negatives. The Drunk Elephant is powered by Chickpea flour and is 25% AHA and 2% BHA which is relatively high and leaves skin very red compared to the Neutrogena which is 15% AHA/PHA Blend. This one leaves slightly pink for about 30 minutes whereas Drunk Elephant leaves red for over an hour. Drunk Elephant also burns for about 5 minutes of the 20 minutes you have it on for. Neutrogena is about 2 minutes of tingling and you rinse off after 15 minutes. While everyone's experience will be different with skin discomfort while using a facial treatment I am here to let you know if I think you should spend $20 for the Neutrogena at Ulta or spend $80 at Ulta or Sephora for Drunk Elephant. 

My honest opinion on this Splurge or Save battle is to buy the Save first and see how it works out its what I would do if I didn't fall for Drunk Elephant first. The results are the same but the Drunk Elephant version is clean beauty. My solution to this Splurge Versus Save situation is instead of buying the Drunk Elephant 4 times a year or once each season I now buy it twice a year and I buy the Neutrogena twice a year and one week I will use Drunk Elephant Babyfacial and the next week Neutrogena Skin Glowing Facial Treatment. However if my skin care budget ever changed I know the Save product Neutrogena is a drugstore find that works well.
