 Hi Beauty Bag Doll's and Happy September! I am excited today to be bringing you a review of a new product or a least a new shade of a product that is tried and true for so many. It has taken me way too long to try the Huda Beauty Easy Bake setting powder. What is new to me is it's a pressed powder which I always have used loose but I got an advanced sneek peek and have been using the new Huda Beauty Easy Bake Airbrush Matte Pressed Powder in shade Pink Velvet Cookie for more than 10 days now and I got to take it with vacation with me to Hawaii and it has superior long lasting wear in different types of heat and humidity. The shade Pink Velvet Cookie and Ube Birthday Cake will be added to the other 8 shades already available on the Sephora App on 9/8/2026 and all other platforms on 9/9/2026 and will retail for $40.00. Huda Beauty Easy Bake Airbrush Matte Pressed Powder in the shade Pink Velvet Cookie and it is absolute perfection. It blurs my pores instantly and makes my makeup last without creasing for ten plus hours but what this particular shade does for me is brighten my under eye area for a lifted appearance as well as blend my blush to concealer area flawlessly. This powder is a gorgeous finish and I love that it is is matte. A must have without a doubt.

Armani Beauty Vertigo Lift Longwear Lenthening Mascara

 Aloha Beauty Bag Dolls! I hope all of you are enjoying your Spring time weather and gearing up for summer. I know I am very excited for summer! Now that being said summer heat and humidity brings up the issues with mascara melting off of my lashes and I anticipate that happening so as soon as I saw Armani Beauty was launching a new mascara in early spring I purchased it on the Sephora app. The price tag for the Armani Beauty Vertigo Lift Longwear Lenthening Mascara is $32.00. I am impressed and really tested this for over a month. I am very pleased that it lengthens my lashes while lifting and adding a curl. I can also tell you that it does not melt off of my lashes. I adore and recommend this to everyone when I like a product this much I leave a review on the website I purchased it from so below I will attach the review I left for Sephora.com. 

The Giorgio Armani is everything! It delivers on its promise to lengthen your lashes. It found lashes I didn't know I had. It also curled them and held the curl for 10 plus hours. I could build the volume with just two coats, and it never flaked. The formula is awesome and feels light on the lashes, and the applicator does the work of getting every single lash coated. I love this mascara!

HIDE Foundation & Concealer

 Beauty Bag Dolls I am so excited to bring you two new reviews. I teased last week on TwitterTwitter a few times that I was searching for new foundation and concealer and by the end of the week I had both in hand and went to work testing out both for, four days but in all honesty I was so very happy with the performance of both by the end of the first day and the application and coverage was just what I needed. I know I am rambling but I am just that excited to introduce all of you to HIDE. This brand was kind enough to partner with me and send over two of their most popular products the foundation and concealer both are formulated without phthalates and are not tested on animals. HIDE Foundation and Concealer are two beauty bag must haves. The packaging is absolutely 💯!

The foundation is oil free formula with a natural finish and is medium to full coverage. I used one pump for medium coverage and pump and a half for full. I found that less is more which is great. This also good for all skin types and with my combination skin type it did not bother or irritate my skin, nor did it cause any breakouts. It felt so light on the skin and matched me perfectly. It is available in 20 shades. With using just one pump I got perfect coverage it immediately Hide from view any imperfections like acne scars or small blemishes for more coverage I added more however when I paired it with the concealer I found I needed less of the HIDE foundation and just a small amount of their HIDE concealer. For me the foundation is my new must have go to and works great applying it with a brush or damp beauty sponge. I am not someone who uses my fingers to apply foundation or concealer so I have no opinion about that. Also tested using both the HIDE foundation and concealer with a primer and without and you can get away without using a primer because this is a longwear foundation that did not crease, Crack or settle into fines lines nor did it enlarge my pores. The HIDE Foundation is a Beauty Bag must have and gets 5 $$$$$ from me the price and performance is out of this world it $30 and only sold on HIDE website.

Now for this awesome HIDE concealer I cannot believe how little you need and how great the coverage is. It is absolutely so light, I never experienced a truly weightless concealer until trying HIDE. It is exactly how HIDE describes it hydrating, weightless build able and oil free. This for me is full coverage with just a few dots or swipes on your face where you need it. Whether you have blemishes, dark circles, hyperpigmentation, acne scars etc this will cover it up and give you the coverage you always dreamed of before HIDE concealer came into your makeup routine. I could wear this alone all over my face if I am in a rush and don't have time for the full routine which would for me would have to include the HIDE foundation. I cannot say enough about this concealer it erases from view my dark circles on mornings that I went to bed late but still was up before 5AM it never creased or cracked and stayed on like the foundation for 14 hour days and only came off when I took it off. This HIDE concealer is what I have searched for and now have in combination with the HIDE foundation it's a dream team duo. I personally apply this with a damp sponge because its my personal preference you can play around and see what works for you. The HIDE concealer is available in 20 shades and costs $26 which is affordable because I would pay more for a concealer with how well it performs. I mean it even brightens my under eye so of course it is a Beauty Bag must have and gets 5 $$$$$.

 Beauty Bag Dolls I have a two for one review for you from two of my favorite products right now that I have added to my beauty routine from the Glamglow brand. I have been a fan of their charcoal mask and peel masks for years now as well as two of their moisturizers but now I have added their cleanser and eye cream to my skincare routine, and I am very happy. The Glamglow Supercleanse Clearing Cream-To-Foam Cleanser is my new must have favorite that I reach for daily. The Glamglow BrightEyes Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream which is so good. Update: I know that everyone has been liking my quick little updates from time to time on my blog posts. I have a little one for you today. I went to Sephora on Monday to repurchase my favorite shampoo and conditioner but of course I didn't because it was not in stock so I grabbed it online but while there, I did grab a new leave in treatment type product that adds shine and gloss as well as heat protection so I will probably post a photo of that on Instagram as early as Friday or sometime next week. I am still trying it out each day this week and I want to just make sure that it is worthy of a post. I also purchased some new fragrances but I find that to be a very personal choice so you know I hardly do those types of review on here, but I have a few times so maybe I will. Also picked up a lot of travel size products for an upcoming vacation so I will be posting a photo on that as well in the coming weeks.

Ilia True Skin Primer, Foundation & Concealer

 Beauty Bag Dolls I have a triple review for you today! As promised a little while back I was on a search for the perfect new foundation. I did say I wanted a primer and concealer from the same brand since I have found that matching the brand works best for me for a while now. I searched for a while researching and trying to make the best choice for my skin type, I also wanted something on the clean beauty side, and I have found the Ilia True Skin Radiant Priming Serum, Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation and Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer. The price at Sephora and the Ilia website is for the Primer $54.00, the Foundation $52.00 and the Concealer is $30.00. 

These three amazing products from Ilia are a beauty bag must! Due note that the Foundation drops on February 8, 2022 at Sephora.com 

The Ilia True Radiant Priming Serum is great. It applies like a serum and dries in a minute. My skin feels soft and matte ready for makeup. This is a must have because it is a skincare primer which is rare in the makeup world. I struggle to find a good primer that doesn't break me out and this one is the winner! I did notice however an off smell to this one it can be a deal breaker on some days, I won't use it.

The Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer is amazing. It feels light on the skin yet gives you full coverage. I hide my dark circles easily, some blemishes as well. In fact, I felt when I removed my makeup after a few days of use it helped to heal my blemishes. It was a medium coverage and never ever felt heavy. I paired it with the Ilia primer and their foundation as well, so my combination skin never felt overly dry just a nice matte finish. That being said I will repurchase before I run out. I will try another shade because with concealers I like to have a few different shades on hand for when I am sunless tanning.

The Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation has great coverage. It feels light on the skin yet gives you full coverage. I hide my blemishes and even out my skin. In fact, it truly felt like nothing on my face, and I never had mid-day shine in my T-Zone. I paired it with the Ilia primer and their concealer as well, so my combination skin never felt overly dry just a nice matte finish. That being said I will repurchase before I run out. 

An additional note: I am a big fan of this brand since trying their mascara in fact it is my must have go to and I was thrilled to fall head over heals for this trio of products!

Laura Mercier Translucent & Invisible Loose Setting Powder

 Hello my Beauty Bag Dolls I hope you are ready for a deep dive on setting powder and its not just any setting powder it is the Laura Mercier setting powders. I had been a dedicated to my It Cosmetics Setting powder for years until Shiseido setting powder came into my life and they I was all in on that. While I had found myself more in love with Shiseido and casting aside my It cosmetics I got interested in Urban Decay and began going between Shiseido and Urban Decay for a long time now. But like anyone I got an desire to change things up yet again. I found that after changing my foundations early this year I benefited and I though what if...I do the same with my setting powders. I went on a deep search in August and after researching and checking out what was out there i decided to go with a classic fan favorite that I never tried yet which I though wow that's odd how did you not try this sooner Anna? People rave about Laura Mercier Setting Powder and there is two (now actually three) to choose from, they recently launched a third that is not from what I am reading in reviews as good as the two classics. So with that information in hand I ordered the Laura Mercier Translucent  Loose Setting Powder and the Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder along with two Laura Mercier Velour Puffs. The setting powders are $39.00 each and the the sold separately Velour Puffs are $16.00 each. Now this review is reviews of both powders. I will compare and contrast my experience with these two setting powders. Remember this is my experience and what works for me may not work for you and this is not a sponsored review I have paid for all of these products. I tested each of these for a week and then together for five days using one on side of my face and one on the other. I really did a lot of testing of these powders before giving you my honest reviews/opinions. Read on to learn more.

I have found my new favorite  Setting Powder! I know Laura Mercier will have one for you too!

The Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder is what I stared with because I felt it was close to what I have been using and would not be a shock to my makeup routine. According to the brand the Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder is light defusing, a universal shade and disappears upon application. While i did find that it was light diffusing and set my makeup I do not think it was universal in shade because it seemed to leave a little bit of a white cast on my face especially when using the Laura Mercier Velour Puff for application. I prefer the brush with this one for a lighter application of what seems like a light weight powder (more on why it is not as light as you think to come). This did do a fairly good job for 8 - 10 hours days at controlling my oily skin and keeping my makeup in place. This is defiantly worth while purchase and I have no regrets. It worked well with liquid foundation and stick foundation. Not to great with my CC Cream. I give it a 4 $$$$.  It is a beauty bag must but do note its not as good with any foundation with SPF in it.

The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is my overall winner for a few reasons. My number one reason is that it is available in 3 shades Translucent, Honey and Translucent Medium Deep. I have the Translucent which is for fair to medium skin tones. I also noticed immediately that this formula is finely milled much more milled than the Invisible version. It feels so much softer and lightweight. It also matches my skin tone and the makeup shades that I use. It never sticks to my makeup and works well with all liquid and stick foundations as well as CC creams and I had no issues with any of the foundations that have SPF built into them whereas the Invisible Powder did not work as well it was efficient but compared to Translucent it tends to cling more. I love the Translucent all over my face it does a great job absorbing oil and never ever needing to be touched up. It lasts for my entire 12 to 16 hour days and leaves me looking air brushed. I do like the Invisible powder for baking my concealer under my eyes since and the Translucent for everything else. I prefer a brush application for both except for under the eyes the velour puff does a perfect job and for clean dry skin days when your not wearing makeup either Laura Mercier powder will do well and applying it the the velour puff or even a wet beautyblender for a much heavier application its your choice. The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is a 5 $$$$$ and if your budget only allows you to buy one Laura Mercier Setting powder than the the Translucent one is for you since you get to pick your shade and it works well with all different kinds of foundations and concealer bases as well as is SPF friendly. What beauty mini's do you travel with?

 While on vacation I of course didn't stop my beauty routine but I do switch it up and downsize it a bit. When I say down size I do not only mean that I grab mini's and pack them in my beauty bag but I tend to focus on skincare when on vacation or whenever I travel. Your skin can get beat up with sun, sand, salt water and pool water. I didn't even mention air travel or a road trip. I am so thrilled Beauty Bag Dolls to be bringing you a makeup review today! It Cosmetics Eye Creams

Hello Beauty Bag Dolls I have a very special review for you today coming from one of my favorite brands in eye creams, It Cosmetics. These days my eyes are doing a lot of talking. I am wearing a face covering everywhere I go and I use concealers, foundations, eye liner, mascara and of course eye shadow. While all that is fine sometimes it can make my skin look a little tiered after removing everything so day and night I use eye cream and each day can be different depending on if my dark circles are worse or better if my eye are seems drier or oily so the perfect products I have found are It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Cream and It Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream. Read on to learn why I love these two and keep them in my rotation for AM or PM routines. 

First up the It Cosmetics  Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream is made just for fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. Most morning I have some puffiness and at times the dark circles accompany the puffiness. I usually only use an eye cream in the evenings because I have had bad experiences with them as in irritation and sensitively, I mean to the point where my eyes tear so bad I couldn't apply eye makeup in morning and go on about my day normally. That has all changed thanks to the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream. This not only feels as amazing and it also DOES NOT IRRITATE my sensitive eyes! I am thrilled to report that if I apply this in the AM before makeup my eyes have no issues in fact my fines lines have disappeared within a week and I love when I apply it PM and wake up in the AM I do not have puffiness or dark circles. The hydration around my eye area improved immediately and with ingredients such as anti-aging copper, blue algae, caffeine, Vitamin C, collagen, cucumber extract and peptides I now know why I have such great results. The eye cream has a blue tint to it which is what helps brighten the eye area upon application and I love that effect when I apply this in the morning after not getting enough sleep. It Cosmetics  Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream feels great on my skin and absorbs quickly. 

Next, Confidence in an Eye Cream now this is an eye I love in fact  I have gone through 4 jars of this wonderful eye cream and this will be my fifth. This has amazing ingredients   apricot tint and Drops of Light Technology visibly color-correct and brighten, proprietary Anti-Aging Armour Rejuvenating Concentrate and other high-performance skin-loving ingredients—including a super ceramide complex, chrysin, licorice root, avocado and squalane—work to hydrate, smooth and refresh." These ingredients are working my eye area and making me really happy with my results. I use this twice a day morning and night after cleansing. I have seen such an improvement in my eye area because of Confidence in an Eye Cream in my fine lines and it the brightening.

The 2-in-1 Makeup Brush A is an awesome. It has a screw on handle which means you unscrew the nice big powder brush to reveal your eye shadow brush. This brush is everything to me. The next three product I tried the next day. In the morning I was so excited to use the Orglamix Aloe Elixir Serum since I read that it is light weight and doubles as a primer. I love saving a step in the morning with my skin and makeup routine. This to me serves as the best skincare a person an ask for. I pumped it out and if felt so light like a serum made for my oily skin type. I love a serum that I can apply and them move on with my routine and this one is just that. All of the product in the box are something you want to try out immediately but the first thing I grabbed out of the box was the Sittie & Sage lip balm. I am a huge lip balm lover that is no secret and this one is great! It glides on smoothly to my lips and hydrates immediately didn't feel sticky or tacky. The ingredient deck was simple and you can pronounce everything which is always a great thing. The next product I used that very same day my The Naked Beauty Box arrived was the PopMask:Starry Eyes. This is an eye mask I really need to help me relax and calm down in the evening. It is so different compared to other traditional eye mask you may be used to like the little gel patches that go under your eyes. When I get ready in the Morning I am not shy about using a face mask while doing my hair and since 4 sheet masks from Midflower were included in The Naked Beauty Box the decision was which one do I try first. After looking at them all and knowing how my skin has been I went for the Midflower Binchotan Charcoal Clarifying Black Mask. This was a great mask that didn't slip off my face once I set it on it stayed on for the 30 minutes. I even did my hair and I had no issues. When I removed the mask my skin looked so clean and my pores were much smaller. I knew this brand would be my newest obsession. I could not wait to get home from work that night to try out the next two products included in The Naked Beauty Beauty Box. After work couldn't come soon enough for so many reasons but I knew a real treat was waiting for me with the Voesh: Waterless 3 Step Pedi- in a Box Green Tea. This little box was packed with step one a Sugar Scrub for my feet and legs which felt so awesome and step 2 a mud mask wow never knew my feet and legs needed that until after trying this and finally step 3 Massage Butter which just felt so nice and moisturizing. For both feet and legs this entire process took under 15 minutes yet my feet and legs felt so revived. I am excited that this helps with premature aging, dark spots and redness.
