 Happy Summer Beauty Bag Dolls! I am thrilled to be welcoming Summer and there is no better way to do so then by bringing you a review of a new sunscreen that got to try out for a while. Hero Cosmetics launched a sunscreen called Force Shield. It is a Superlight Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30. It is sold on the Hero Cosmetics website and at Ulta Beauty for $19.99. I want to note this is a 100% mineral sunscreen.

It has a green tint yet blends out like a dream and does not leave a white cast. This is the best SPF for my acne prone skin. It protects against the sun without breaking me out. It protects against the sun without breaking me out. It absorbs quickly and wears well underneath makeup. It does not pill at all and can be your primer before makeup or wear it alone every day, not just during the summer months. Give this SPF a try it's not like any other.

e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer

Beauty Bag Doll's I am so happy to be bringing you another review of a product that I really like. The e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer which just recently launched and retails for $10. I was lucky enough to receive this from Topbox Circle in exchange for my honest review. I was very excited about this launch because I am a big fan of their Power Grip Primer + 4% Niacinimamide as well as their Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray. The e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer caught my eye because it is Matte and my combination skin type that is more oily is just what I need. Since I am a Topbox Circle member I was lucky to qualify for this to sample and I jumped on the chance. Read on for my review.

I used the e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer daily for over a week and with different types of foundations to give this Primer the ultimate test. I am happy to say that it really does work. My makeup lasted all day which for me is anywhere from 10 to 16 hour's. This kept my oily skin at bay with some days getting no touch-ups and I am thrilled to say this did not cause any breakouts on my acne prone skin. It is a clear Primer and after applying it I wait about a minute before starting my makeup and it gets very sticky which helps with getting your makeup to grip o to my skin. It also did elp with blurring my pores. I highly recommend this Primer.

e.l.f. Power Grip Primer

Beauty Bag Dolls I have been busy with life but I have been trying a lot of different products to review for all of you. I have been going to Ulta and Sephora a lot to buy my Beauty products and while I was not open to a new primer for a very long time because I am obsessed with my  Ilia Beauty primer I got very interested in the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer and the mini section is always my favorite place to try new things because it's low commitment. I am glad I finally tried this primer, I know I'm probably the last person to try this e.l.f. Power Grip Primer. I have a quick review below and this cute little mini makes a great stocking stuffer this holiday season.

Ilia True Skin Primer, Foundation & Concealer

 Beauty Bag Dolls I have a triple review for you today! As promised a little while back I was on a search for the perfect new foundation. I did say I wanted a primer and concealer from the same brand since I have found that matching the brand works best for me for a while now. I searched for a while researching and trying to make the best choice for my skin type, I also wanted something on the clean beauty side, and I have found the Ilia True Skin Radiant Priming Serum, Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation and Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer. The price at Sephora and the Ilia website is for the Primer $54.00, the Foundation $52.00 and the Concealer is $30.00. 

These three amazing products from Ilia are a beauty bag must! Due note that the Foundation drops on February 8, 2022 at Sephora.com 

The Ilia True Radiant Priming Serum is great. It applies like a serum and dries in a minute. My skin feels soft and matte ready for makeup. This is a must have because it is a skincare primer which is rare in the makeup world. I struggle to find a good primer that doesn't break me out and this one is the winner! I did notice however an off smell to this one it can be a deal breaker on some days, I won't use it.

The Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer is amazing. It feels light on the skin yet gives you full coverage. I hide my dark circles easily, some blemishes as well. In fact, I felt when I removed my makeup after a few days of use it helped to heal my blemishes. It was a medium coverage and never ever felt heavy. I paired it with the Ilia primer and their foundation as well, so my combination skin never felt overly dry just a nice matte finish. That being said I will repurchase before I run out. I will try another shade because with concealers I like to have a few different shades on hand for when I am sunless tanning.

The Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation has great coverage. It feels light on the skin yet gives you full coverage. I hide my blemishes and even out my skin. In fact, it truly felt like nothing on my face, and I never had mid-day shine in my T-Zone. I paired it with the Ilia primer and their concealer as well, so my combination skin never felt overly dry just a nice matte finish. That being said I will repurchase before I run out. 

An additional note: I am a big fan of this brand since trying their mascara in fact it is my must have go to and I was thrilled to fall head over heals for this trio of products!

March 2022 QVC TSV List and an Update...

Hey Beauty Bag Dolls. I have a tiny sneak peek of the upcoming March Today Special Values for QVC. What are you interested in? I have my eye on the NYDJ, Fashion and of course the Beauty Day on the 8th this Beauty Day on the 8th is interesting so I will be on the lookout to purchase. How have your beauty purchases gone so far? I have started a new eye cream and its seeming like a failure because I stopped using it and now, I purchased another. (I will reveal the brand in a few days after one more try). Also, still on the hunt for a new foundation, concealer and primer. I am struggling because I would like for it to be from the same brand all three. That has worked for me so far and I would like to stick with it since mixing and matching has irritated my skin in the past. I am again leaning toward clean beauty like my bareMinerals foundation which I have been using for over a year now (interchanging with others of course) but I have that urge to switch it up. I want to have a new foundation in my rotation next month a review for you after that. I am also trying out a new weekly facial treatment and I will have a new review for you soon. The next three product I tried the next day. In the morning I was so excited to use the Orglamix Aloe Elixir Serum since I read that it is light weight and doubles as a primer. I love saving a step in the morning with my skin and makeup routine. This to me serves as the best skincare a person an ask for. I pumped it out and if felt so light like a serum made for my oily skin type. I love a serum that I can apply and them move on with my routine and this one is just that. It let my makeup glide on easily and last all day. This miracle water just softens my skin and makes it glow. I love this it is nothing like toners of the past that burned your skin and stung! Erborian is a brand that I have loved for a long time now and I continue to add more and more of their products to my skincare and makeup routine the erborian Pink Perfect Crème is just the latest product I have added. I personally use it two  different ways depending on my look. Most days I love to use this as my primer. I apply it all over my face and then use my makeup and it adds such an extra pink glow to my skin I adore it. I want note that I does have a beautiful floral scent to it so if you are super sensitive to scent it may not be for you. I like this scent it does not irate me at all and I usually do not like any scent in my makeup and moisturizing products however this is very subtle to me and fades without lingering too long. PUR Correcting Primer

When it comes to a makeup primer I have become a very picky person because I need one that is not going to make my skin and makeup look worse than if I use no primer before I started. I have combination skin and I need to find a balance thankfully PUR Cosmetics has thought of everything when it comes to primers. Its no secret that my skin is acne prone, sensitive and combination. However finding a balance is key. I love the PUR Correcting Primer Hydrate & Balance because it does what is says it will do. It hydrates my dry winter skin while keeping it balanced to prevent blemishes and of course keeping my makeup on my face. It is oil-free and silicone free which makes all the difference for me. It keeps my face looking matte and never oily whiling locking in hydration so I am not feeling dry or dehydrated. This primer is also a light purple blue tint to it so don't worry about the shade. PUR Eye Polish

I have an exciting review for you today about PUR Cosmetics Eye Polish. These are amazing eye type shadows that PUR as made so much better. It takes eye shadow to the next level because this is the PUR Eye Polish which is a an Eye Base + Top Coat with Silicone Application Tool. Now to learn more about this read on.

PUR Eye Polish is a beauty bag must since it is your eye base and top coat all in one! 

PUR Cosmetics describes the Eye Polish as an "eye primer and top coat pigment creates a crease-proof eye shadow base with a luminous metallic sheen. The eye-opening formula glides on with pro precision and builds with exceptional ease with the use of the enclosed latex-free silicone applicator. Use alone as an iridescent cream shadow, under eye shadows for visibly more vibrant color or over eye shadow as a top coat to amplify color and add dimension to your eye look." This is a statement I completely agree with. Once you apply anyone of the beautiful shades they are not buding until you remove them and if you have oily or hooded eye lids this does not crease. If you decided to use this with other eyeshadow to layer it does not affect the integrity of the PUR Eye Polish. The shades I have are Cashmere, Velvet, Satin and Caviar. I always tended to reach to use two shades at once always reaching for Caviar as my eye liner shade but do note you should grab an eye liner brush to do so the silicone applicator included with each one of these is more to use when applying all over the eye lid. The Eye Polish come through a mesh so just note that you should tap the jar with the lid on a few times to make sure the liquid come through for you and it dries down after just 15 seconds or so. The shades are pure and very pigmented a little goes a long way. They truly add a sparkle to your look and for me they are great all year round but right now with holiday parties happening I am going with these for that extra sparkle and long wear without creasing or smudging! NewBeauty TestTube 2.0 November 2017

Its always such a delight to come home to the NewBeauty TestTube 2.0 November 2017 sitting on my doorstep. I get giddy and this month was no exception I got super excited when I saw 4 full size products that were products that I was in the market for and now I get to try them out and see if the brands are right for me! Now I never hide that my skin is acne prone and that I worry about the acne more than I do about preventing the signs of aging( I have gotten serious about aging of course) and the NewBeauty TestTube 2.0 November 2017 knocked it out of the park for me with the first two products. First is the Feel Bamboo Charcoal Facial Sheet Mask. This is a full size 4 pack of sheet masks that you use once a week. It is powerful detoxifier and pore minimalizer it has charcoal to purify skin and reduce oil and blemishes along with hyaluronic acid to plump the skin. Let me tell you I put this mask on for 30 minutes and just relax or go on about my evening. It stays on doesn't slip but when I take it off my skin is feeling soft and clean not stripped or dehydrated and my pores are much smaller! This is a winner and I am visiting the website to repurchase this at the end of the month! Next is for aging and it is a full size of the MDRejuvena Rejuvenating Complex which just glided onto my skin and felt really nice I can see that it was working about just a few days of using it I could see the fine lines soften to almost being unnoticeable and my skin was truly glowing. This is another product I will purchase after I am out.  The third product is the Morccanoil Luminous Hairspray which is probably the best hair spray I have tried in a while because it hydrated my hair all while leaving it feeling soft and not sticky and my style held! Next is the Skin& Co Roma Truffle Therapy Anti-aging Regenerative Face Cream which was one of the smaller samples yet effective enough for me to know I want more. This absorbed so quickly I mean seconds my skin needed it and it left me feeling my face because of how soft and silky it was. I am ordering it on the website because I love it that much! Next is the Youtheory Collagen which is collagen vitamin for healthy hair, skin and nails. I enjoyed taking the sample size bottle of these and did notice that my nails were stronger. I am all about taking care of yourself staring on the inside. The New Beauty TestTube 2.0 November 2017 is just getting started read on for more

I am really thrilled about this next two part product sample that NewBeauty TestTube 2.0 November 2017 had included it is the Dr. Brandt Needles No More Wrinkle Smoothing Cream and Pores No More Luminizer Primer. The Wrinkle Smoothing Cream Glides on and instantly my face felt tighter and I followed up with the Luminizer Primer which really helped my makeup glide on easily! Love these two goodies! This next product is something I have heard of and I wanted to try out but never actually went to buy it but WOW I am sure glad that the NewBeauty TestTube 2.0 November 2017 included it and a full size too. It is the Lids By Design medical grade instant eyelid correcting strips. That's right you can change that hooded eyelid in seconds. Now I am really good at using my eye creams and they are doing a pretty good job but after I applied a set of these on my eyes I was amazed at how well they worked and how I looked like I got an eye lift. I am going to be buying these again and again! Next is a full size of Coastal Salt & Soul Heavenly Hand Cream Blue Watermint which smells amazing and hydrated my hands instantly without feeling greasy!
