Burt's Bees Masks

If there is anything I love more than lip balm and nail care than it has to be a good face mask. I have been doing a face mask everyday since forever because they are great for my skin and very relaxing and the latest love of mine are those from Burt's Bees. They have an amazing Detoxifying Clay mask and a wide variety of single use sheet masks. Todays review I will dive into the Burt's Bees Detoxifying Clay Mask so please read on.

The Burt's Bees Detoxifying Clay Mask is just what my oily acne prone skin needs. This mask is in my opinion so much better than most out there that have left my skin in pain after using. This one is gentle yet effect at lifting away impurities with charcoal. while still nourishing my skin and being 99% natural. It removes dirt, oil and toxins which makes this oily skin girl really happy. I would apply this evenly all over my face wait about 15 minutes for it to dry and it dries down in that time period no waiting around forever. I decided to remove it with a reusable makeup cloth and warm water and it comes right off very easily no tugging or scrubbing. When I was done and dried my face I looked in the mirror and I immediately noticed my pores were shrunk which made me happy. My face was soft and didn't feel or look oily and I have a nice even complexion. I was also happy that my skin was left looking and feeling matte. I am beginning to use this mask more in the morning before makeup application because of the mattifying effect makes it so nice and easy to apply my makeup. This is a 5 $$$$$ mask from Burt's Bees and gets EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

The other mask available are sheet masks. There are several ones and the ones I have are Burt's Bees Hydrating Sheet Mask with Watermelon, With Clary Sage and a Renewing Biocellulose gel mask with Rose and Algae Extract. I love all three of these for different reasons and the one I reached for first was the Watermelon because it was hydrating and that is what my skin needed after being in the sun for most of that day. This was a quick 5 minute mask that was both hydrating and cooling. I went on to try out the renewing biocellulose gel mask which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles which was another very comfortable mask to wear for only 10 minutes. My face felts soft and smooth after using this mask and finally on another evening I used the hydrating with Clary sage mask on a day my skin was feeling extremely dry which is at least once a week and for me that's a big thing because my skin is always oily. This gave my skin just the right balance of hydration and moisturizer without making my skin greasy. I love the Burt's Bees sheet masks, and with that they get 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer

It is a great day when I get to introduce all of you Beauty Bag Dolls to a skincare line that has changed my combination mostly oily acne prone skin! Boscia is an amazing brand and their boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer has changed my view on moisturizer for the better. I always hesitate when it comes to moisturizer and trying new ones because my skin reacts with either a breakout, redness or rash. The boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer is made for combination to oily skin which appealed to me immediately and it is described by bosica as "ultra-lightweight moisturizer gives thirsty skin a sip of hydration courtesy of The Queen of Night Cactus, leaving skin soft, smooth and supple. This fast-absorbing solution for combination to oily skin helps improve moisture levels without the weight of a heavy cream. Perfect for priming and perfecting the skin prior to makeup application."  I was so eager to give this a try the same day it arrived and my love affair began. Read on to learn more.

This boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer is a game changer in my skincare routine and a skin savoir! Just an fyi you can put it on the fridge and it will give your skin a cooling sensation upon application! A beauty bag must have for sure!

The first time I tried this was at night after cleansing and toning I reached for this moisturizer and after opening it I saw that it was gel based and I like that when it comes to my acne prone skin because it for me absorbs quicker and not may brands have a gel based moisturizer so I was pleased. It was also unscented which was welcomed because I don't always love scent on my skin before going to bed it seems to have green tint but goes on completely clear and absorbs in 30 seconds to a minute. My skin drank it in and it felt very soft and smooth. I went to bed woke up and saw that my skin was plump, soft and smooth. I went ahead and used it that morning and skipped primer using the boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer as my moisturizer and primer. My makeup application after using this was a breeze and my skin never broke out, never was irritated and I had no issues. I only noticed that my skin got better day after day using this. In fact the fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead softened after day 5. My skin was always hydrated but not tacky or sticky it was never left feeling oily or greasy like with other moisturizers. When my skin was a little extra dehydrated from being out doors or going to the beach, I immediately would get home cleanse and apply this and my skin would just drink it in and the dryness was gone in a few hours. I love this right now as my summer moisturizer and with my combination oily skin I can see myself using this in the fall and winter as well to keep my skin's hydration balanced. I also want to note that it helped with some redness in my face and that was very welcomed because I have never really found a moisturizer that helps with redness that does not break me out. I honestly don't want to ever go back to another moisturizer again. I am giving the boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer a 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

Dew Puff

Hello #BeautyBagDolls I am so happy today to be brining you a review of an amazing product called the Dew Puff. The Dew Puff is a Konjac Sponge. They come in three varieties Bamboo Charcoal, Asian Clay and Original. They are a natural way to cleanse your face. You just soak them in water squeeze out excess water and massage them over your face. The Asian Clay and Bamboo Charcoal is recommended for use with no cleanser and the original you can add some cleanser. I love these all and please read on to learn more.

Dew Puff has a Konjac Sponge for every skin type and I love them!

Now for me I was immediate drawn to the Dew Puff Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Sponge. It is for blemish prone skin which I have so you know I had to try this one first. According to Dew Puff
"the Bamboo Charcoal natural sponge contains activated carbon and minerals to help prevent breakouts, plus antioxidants to fight acne-causing bacteria. This konjac sponge is soothing and helps fight blemished skin." I found it great to use in the morning when I don't feel like using a cleanser on my face and this truly refreshed my face and it felt exfoliated yet soft. I had zero irritaitons and no new breakouts. It was great to use something chemical free on my skin. I also jumped at the chance to use the Dew Puff Asian Clay Konjac Sponge. Dew Puff describes it as helping to "stimulate skin cells white absorbing impurities below the pore level. Leaves skin looking rejuvenated, renewed and helps reduce aging." This was one I used in the evening to remove the days impurities and to reveal a healthy glow. I love it as well and had no skin irritation only a cleaned and exfoliated face after each use. I also must note that my pores looked smaller after using the Asian Clay Konjac Sponge. Finally is the Dew Puff Original Konjac Sponge which cleans "without drying out your skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and looking smooth and radiant. Gentle enough for any type of skin - even your baby's skin." This was the one I reached for in the evening to cleanse my skin gently without any harsh chemicals and this truly reveled my skin to be soft and clean without stripping it and leaving it feeling dry or tight. I am truly addicted to the Dew Puff Konjac Sponges they are a gentle and effective at cleansing the skin. These are all beauty bag must haves that get a 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

Masqueology Color Shine Peel Off Mask(s)

Hello #BeautyBagDolls its my favorite post of the week because it is a post about a new mask(s) that I adore from Masqueology. I have reviewed products from them before and I love them these are their newer products that I got to try out and these are awesome too. The Masqueology Color Shine Peel Off Mask is a skin savoir. It is 3 separate peel of masks that you use as you need. The three you receive are Fine Lines & Wrinkles (Gold), Dryness (Purple) and Dark Spots and Dullness(Silver) I honestly could not wait to try all three over a 3 day period to learn more about each and my experience please read on.

I first read which each of the Masqueology Color Shine Peel Off Mask did I decided the Dark Spots & Dullness (Silver) Peel off mask would be the first one I try. The Silver Masqueology mask is described as having "pearl extract to even out complexion, reduce the appearance of blemishes, energizes the skin and niacinamide which is a skin restoring agent that helps improves complexion, fine lines, & undernourished skin." I fell in love after one use because my skin was suffering from a current breakout of a few pesky pimples and this really helped to reduce the redness in the pimple as well as the size of the pimple itself. My skin was brightened immediately and I am thrilled with the result. The next one I decided to use is the Dryness Purple Masqueology Peel Off Mask. This mask is amazing for my skin since as I mentioned acne is plaguing me. The ingredient deck is as follows "blueberry fruit extract  which is rich in nutrients that helps fight aging, kaolin  which absorbs oil, treat acne, & soothes the skin and sodium hyaluronate - essential in hydrating and moisturizing the skin. Now when I read this was good for acne and antiaging I was in and I applied this per instructions waited 30 minutes and peeled off. This was another winner. My skin was hydrated and felt very soft. I am thrilled with the results because it didn't add any extra oil to my already oily skin. Finally the Masqueology Fine Lines & Wrinkles Fold Peel Off Mask which has ingredients for antiaging which is as follows "gold for anti-inflammatory & antioxidants effects collagen for  moisturizing & anti-aging properties and adenosine which energizes the skin." My skin needed this so much after the use of this mask it looked amazing. My fine lines were plumped and my skin was tightened. I love this mask set so much! Do avoid your eyes, eyebrows and hair line. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes I find 30 minutes to work best for me and then begin to gently peel it off and rinse off any residue after. This was an effective mask that enjoyed using. I use it 2 times a week and with key ingredients like gold which is "commonly found in skin care products due to its anti-aging properties. Gold also has anti-inflammation effects that treat the skin from swelling and acne. Applying it to the skin laminates it, giving the skin a healthy glow." Then for someone like me with acne the ingredient Orange Oil is "effective in fighting bacteria and inflammation on the skin that causes acne. Orange oil also improves redness and pain from acne." I am in love with the Kazu Beauty 24K Gold Glow Peel Off Mask since it is made for some with acne prone skin that is also aging. Read on to learn why.

WOW I am in love with the Peace Out Skincare brand they make the best products for anyone with pore issues and acne! I cannot get enough! Highly recommended beauty bag must have!

The Peace Out Pores is "A set of oil-absorbing strips infused with pore-refining actives that prevent blackheads and minimize the appearance of enlarged pores."  These are good for all skin times including mine which is sensitive, acne prone and combination. Last week for example my skin was oily and this week is dry as in yesterday dry today I would say normal. My skin has a mind of its own and I have to have different kinds of skincare on hand for different days. The Peace Out Acne Healing Dots are a savoir they truly worked on those pop up pimples and the Peace Out Pores are now a savoir as well. When I look at my forehead and chin I can see my pores and I can see black heads so if I can combat these before they turn into a bigger issue I will. I used 3 of these right from the start. I use one black head strip on my nose and one pore strip on my forehead and on my chin. I applied these to a clean dry face right before bed time. It says to wear these anywhere from 4-6 hours and I actually wore them for about 6 hours that night. Now after reading all that I could not wait to see my results. I have been searching for something that will extract impurities and help keep my skin looking healthy without irritation and preventing black heads. I went to bed woke up and ran to the mirror to peel off the strips and they work! OMG it got out a lot of gunk we shall say out of my pores. These Peace Out Pores go deep and truly draws out all the impurities to detoxify my skin and lift away everything that is trapped in your pores. There were a bunch of like dots I would say on the strip (I don't want to gross you out) but you know its working when you see it trust me. These are a staple in my beauty bag like the Acne dots I will not be without it. I see myself using this each week in certain areas of my face. Thank goodness they exist!
