Perricone MD Hypoallergenic CBD Sensitive Skin Therapy Ultra-Smooth Clean Shave Cream

 Beauty Bag Dolls I have an awesome product that is for everyone who shaves. Perricone MD is a brand that I do love for skincare. I have reviewed their products on my blog and now they have what I would say is both a skincare and body care product that was just dropped early last month. I have been testing it out and I must say I am hooked on the Perricone MD Hypoallergenic CBD Sensitive Skin Therapy Ultra-Smooth Clean Shave Cream. While shave cream is something I do care about I usually just bought what I found at my local Target or Ulta Beauty in the shave cream aisle which was usually eos brand because it always seemed to keep my skin calmed when using it however now the Perricone MD Hypoallergenic CBD Sensitive Skin Therapy Ultra-Smooth Clean Shave Cream was sent to me via BzzAgent in exchange for my review and I do love it. It sells for $29.00 which is pricy compared to my go to eos which is around $4.00 but when comparing the two I do have to use more eos and less of the Perricone. It Cosmetics Holiday 2021 Gift Guide w/reviews

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Now this was completely new to me and very new to the It Cosmetics line, they first off are beautiful and the shades are all wearable for all skin tones, which makes this a very giftable set. The packaging it comes in is also beautiful as you will see in my photo and they are individual boxed if you would want to break it up into a stocking stuffer. The values is also great because you are paying only $49.00 for $72.00 worth of the longest wear eye shadow sticks I have ever owned. I wore them for a 16 hour day without any creasing or smearing. Pair this gift with the Limited Edition Superhero Elastic Stretch Mascara and you will be anyone's number one gift giver. Not only does this mascara curl and lengthen your lashes it also comes in the limited edition mascara tube that will not be around for long. It costs $25.00 and is a great gift to give any mascara lover.

Up next is the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Setting Spray+ Duo  which is not new it has been out a while but it was a new setting spray to me. I previously reviewed the sister primer to this and love it now the setting spray is the most refreshing setting spray I have used in my makeup routine in a long time, which makes me late to the game because It cosmetics setting spray game is amazing! This is a refreshing spray that you can yes use to set your makeup for the day and it does make it last without your makeup smudging or smearing though the day or you can bring it with you for that refreshing hydration it provides with the scent of coconut. This must have set retails for $34.00 but is a $56.00 volume and would make me smile if i received as a gift. The final two makeup goodies you can gift anyone are a you choose or buy both like I would. The It Cosmetics Pillow Lips Lipstick & Lip Gloss Set which is a $48.00 value being sold for only $29.00 and comes in shade Like A Dream for both the lip stick which matte and lip gloss. This gift is not boxed individually like its counterpart the It Cosmetics Celebrate Your Lip Love Tinted Lip Gloss Trio which comes beautifully packed in holiday gift packaging however inside they are individually packaged so you can break them up as stocking stuffers its your choice and a $72.00 value being sold for $49.00 makes me want to buy one set for me and gift another. 

Now before I get to skincare I have to recommend the It Cosmetics Its Your Heavenly Luxe Skin-Loving 5-Piece Makeup Brush Set. This gift set is perfect to gift yourself or someone you love because it will provide them with 5 must have brushes from the It Cosmetics brand that will last them a very long time and it comes in a beautiful makeup brush case to keep them it. The set have a foundation, powder, concealer, blush and shadow brush which everything you need to have a beautiful makeup application with high quality brushes. This retails for $194.00 but is being sold during the holiday for only $75.00 so my advice to you is to buy it before it sell out completely.

Overall everything that It cosmetics has offered for Holiday 2021 is a win you cannot go wrong gifting any of these products to anyone in your life. Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Mask

 Beauty Bag Dolls I have been missing you all and I have been super busy with work life but I really has not stopped me from my usual buying and trying makeup and skincare products. I have just been delayed a little bit on posting. I am always visiting Ulta and Sephora to shop new products and restock on my favorites. Earlier this month I went to Ulta on a restock shopping trip (honestly I visit Ulta almost every week to buy new stuff that launches) however once a month I dedicate a restock trip usually in the  first 10 days of the month and on a warm fall day earlier this month I went in to buy some serum which I was out of, a setting spray in travel size, nail care products and a foundation stick. It was only supposed to be those products but of course I end up walking out with a travel size mascara previously reviewed for you here , sunless tanner and a new mask that I had hear about and never tried! The Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Mask. I always wanted this mask but for some reason never tried it until now! I have been using this twice a week for 3 weeks now and I am really loving it. The cost is $38 for a very large jar of 2.8 ounces this will last me at least 6 months for sure. Read on to learn more.

The  Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Mask is described by Boscia as a "detoxify, refine and minimize the appearance of pores with a powerfully effective Activated Black Charcoal and Binchotan White Charcoal Powder wash-off treatment mask. The powerful duo deeply decongests by removing dirt, oil and impurities without over-drying and irritating." As a person with oily skin that is acne prone I was so excited to try this mask out. Finding something that is gentle and effective that will not irritate my skin and make acne worse is always welcomed. I applied this mask on my clean dry skin the day I brought this home and I love the pudding like consistency. It glides on easily and dries down after about 15 minutes the biggest difference with this charcoal mask that  I noticed is after rinsing it off with warm water and my makeup eraser my skin felt soft and hydrated not dried out and tight like with some other charcoal mask. My skin was also very bright and my pores were shrunken. I also love how even the next day my skin was soft, hydrated and bright. I highly recommend this mask and give it 5 $$$$$ it is a beauty bag must have!

Lancôme Idole Lash Lifting Volumizing Mascara

 Beauty Bag Dolls I am so happy to bring to you a review of a mascara from Lancôme. I am convinced that I will be the person who always searches for yet another mascara to use I know I said in earlier posts from the summer that I had found a forever mascara but I digress and I am also a beauty lover who loves to try everything I can. For me mascara is like lip balms you can never ever have too many! The latest mascara to hit my beauty bag is the  Lancôme Idole Lash Lifting Volumizing Mascara. The thing for me with mascara is I always want curling and volumizing that I never really think about lifting because I think that I get it when the formula curls my lashes. Laura Mercier Translucent & Invisible Loose Setting Powder

 Hello my Beauty Bag Dolls I hope you are ready for a deep dive on setting powder and its not just any setting powder it is the Laura Mercier setting powders. I had been a dedicated to my It Cosmetics Setting powder for years until Shiseido setting powder came into my life and they I was all in on that. While I had found myself more in love with Shiseido and casting aside my It cosmetics I got interested in Urban Decay and began going between Shiseido and Urban Decay for a long time now. But like anyone I got an desire to change things up yet again. I found that after changing my foundations early this year I benefited and I though what if...I do the same with my setting powders. I went on a deep search in August and after researching and checking out what was out there i decided to go with a classic fan favorite that I never tried yet which I though wow that's odd how did you not try this sooner Anna? People rave about Laura Mercier Setting Powder and there is two (now actually three) to choose from, they recently launched a third that is not from what I am reading in reviews as good as the two classics. So with that information in hand I ordered the Laura Mercier Translucent  Loose Setting Powder and the Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder along with two Laura Mercier Velour Puffs. The setting powders are $39.00 each and the the sold separately Velour Puffs are $16.00 each. Now this review is reviews of both powders. I will compare and contrast my experience with these two setting powders. Remember this is my experience and what works for me may not work for you and this is not a sponsored review I have paid for all of these products. I tested each of these for a week and then together for five days using one on side of my face and one on the other. I really did a lot of testing of these powders before giving you my honest reviews/opinions. Read on to learn more.

I have found my new favorite  Setting Powder! I know Laura Mercier will have one for you too!

The Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder is what I stared with because I felt it was close to what I have been using and would not be a shock to my makeup routine. According to the brand the Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder is light defusing, a universal shade and disappears upon application. While i did find that it was light diffusing and set my makeup I do not think it was universal in shade because it seemed to leave a little bit of a white cast on my face especially when using the Laura Mercier Velour Puff for application. I prefer the brush with this one for a lighter application of what seems like a light weight powder (more on why it is not as light as you think to come). This did do a fairly good job for 8 - 10 hours days at controlling my oily skin and keeping my makeup in place. This is defiantly worth while purchase and I have no regrets. It worked well with liquid foundation and stick foundation. Not to great with my CC Cream. I give it a 4 $$$$.  It is a beauty bag must but do note its not as good with any foundation with SPF in it.

The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is my overall winner for a few reasons. My number one reason is that it is available in 3 shades Translucent, Honey and Translucent Medium Deep. I have the Translucent which is for fair to medium skin tones. I also noticed immediately that this formula is finely milled much more milled than the Invisible version. It feels so much softer and lightweight. It also matches my skin tone and the makeup shades that I use. It never sticks to my makeup and works well with all liquid and stick foundations as well as CC creams and I had no issues with any of the foundations that have SPF built into them whereas the Invisible Powder did not work as well it was efficient but compared to Translucent it tends to cling more. I love the Translucent all over my face it does a great job absorbing oil and never ever needing to be touched up. It lasts for my entire 12 to 16 hour days and leaves me looking air brushed. I do like the Invisible powder for baking my concealer under my eyes since and the Translucent for everything else. I prefer a brush application for both except for under the eyes the velour puff does a perfect job and for clean dry skin days when your not wearing makeup either Laura Mercier powder will do well and applying it the the velour puff or even a wet beautyblender for a much heavier application its your choice. The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is a 5 $$$$$ and if your budget only allows you to buy one Laura Mercier Setting powder than the the Translucent one is for you since you get to pick your shade and it works well with all different kinds of foundations and concealer bases as well as is SPF friendly. Smashbox will Carry Becca

Beauty Bag Dolls I have some breaking beauty news! I found out earlier today in an email from Smashbox (love their primer and foundation review here) that they will carry two of Becca's products as Becca's era comes to an end in the next few days. The two products they will carry are Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector and the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter. I have used the highlighter from Becca in the past and loved it and my preference in under eye corrector is from Bobbi Brown. 

I know so many of you must be thrilled two see to cult favorites from Becca will live on! I am going to give their highlighter another try I do not even remember what I replaced their highlighter with maybe it was Urban Decay's highlighter it was so long ago. Are you excited for this collab? I am not entirely surprised since Smashbox has not being doing super well lately but they must be doing better then Becca. I believe this collaboration of sorts will help the Smashbox brand because I have only gone back to purchase their foundation as of late.

What beauty mini's do you travel with?

 While on vacation I of course didn't stop my beauty routine but I do switch it up and downsize it a bit. When I say down size I do not only mean that I grab mini's and pack them in my beauty bag but I tend to focus on skincare when on vacation or whenever I travel. Your skin can get beat up with sun, sand, salt water and pool water. I didn't even mention air travel or a road trip. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick Review & Giveaway
