Ilia Skin Blur Serum Concealer & Super Serum Skin Tint

Beauty Bag Doll's I have a double feature for you today. I have been testing several products over the past 6 weeks and these two from Ilia were included. This is part of the reason why my posts for all of you have been on the slower side. I am lucky enough to receive products before they are released to the public and I have to keep them a secret all while testing them out for several weeks to give you, my Beauty Bag Doll's a real honest review. Today I have a full review of the new launch of the Ilia Skin Blur Serum Concealer and a review of a new to me Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Sunscreen. I was blessed to receive these both for free from PINCHme and Ilia in exchange for my honest review. 

A pair that is made for one another and my skin loves it.

Ilia dropped a new concealer and I am beyond impressed and I am a fan of the previous formula so I was taken aback when they decided to release the Skin Blur Serum Concealer. This is sold at Sephora, it is $32.00 and is packed with good for you ingredients.

I didn't think I could love a long wear concealer this much!

My experience with this Ilia concealer is nothing but positive. I have not stopped wearing it since it arrived. The formula is hydrating yet it self sets. It is all skin type friendly. Even my combination acne prone skin is happy. It covers my dark circles and any imperfections that I have. It does not crease which to me is worth it weight in gold. I do not have the crease lines in my around my eyes after 8 plus hours of wear. The applicator is worth noting because the shape get in the corner of your eyes. I also want to mention this feels more like skincare than a heavy concealer yet it is a medium coverage. There is no smell to this formula and your skin will love it.

Along with trying the brand nee Ilia concealer I got to try the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Sunscreen. I am an avid user of the Ilia Foundation and I have been using it since 2022 read that review here. However when given the opportunity to try the Super Serum Skin Tint I said yes sign me up. This is again packed with skincare ingredients like plant based squalane and niacinamide to promote smooth and even skin. Two sizes of hyaluronic acid to soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles. All while being oil free, fragrance free and silicone free. I am all for this formula as well as SPF 40. This is also available at Sephora for  $48.00. Read on for my review.

This truly the best of both worlds. I don't know how Ilia did it but they packed skincare and a beautiful lightweight buildable medium coverage in a hydrating skin tint. I use this every single day. The coverage is beautiful and it blends perfectly with just your fingers. It is a dewy formula that gives your skin that beautiful glow and I am beyond happy. This is the best skin tint I have ever used the added SPF makes it even better along with antiaging skincare makes this a slam dunk. I am only going to purchasing this skin tint from here on out. Pair it with the Ilia concealer and you will get full coverage for the full beat baddie.

Innisfree Retinol Green Tea PDRN Firming Serum

Beauty Bag Dolls I am so happy to bring you a new review of the Innisfree Retinol Green Tea PDRN Firming Serum. I was lucky enough to receive this complimentary from Skeepers and Innisfree. I wrote my review for Skeepers after using this for three days because I was so excited about my results. I will post my initial review that I left for Skeepers and an update. This is sold at Sephora for $37.00. I hesitate with Retinol for a multiple reasons but this one has green tea which I heard good things about. So I tried it and well read on.

This is the best Retinol serum I have tried in a long time! I cannot wait to try more from Innisfree!

My Review:

This is the best firming serum. I have used it twice daily and I saw results within 3 days. The lines on my forehead softened significantly. I never had any  sensitivity just results that I am happy with. It also has no scent and absorbs quickly. 

The texture is very light and absorbs quickly!

Update: I have not stopped using it and the results are amazing. My skin is firmer and my funes lines are diminish. Give this a try. You won't regret it.

Hero Cosmetics Force Shield Superlight Sunscreen SPF 30

 Happy Summer Beauty Bag Dolls! I am thrilled to be welcoming Summer and there is no better way to do so then by bringing you a review of a new sunscreen that got to try out for a while. Hero Cosmetics launched a sunscreen called Force Shield. It is a Superlight Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30. It is sold on the Hero Cosmetics website and at Ulta Beauty for $19.99. I want to note this is a 100% mineral sunscreen.

It has a green tint yet blends out like a dream and does not leave a white cast. This is the best SPF for my acne prone skin. It protects against the sun without breaking me out. It protects against the sun without breaking me out. It absorbs quickly and wears well underneath makeup. It does not pill at all and can be your primer before makeup or wear it alone every day, not just during the summer months. Give this SPF a try it's not like any other.

Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier Repair Cream

Happy Saturday Beauty Bag Dolls! I am thrilled to report that Drunk Elephant has done it again. They have hooked me on another moisturizer. I am a big fan and user of their Protini Moisturizer and I was looking for something more recently and I thought there is no better time to spoil myself then for my Birthday and I started to use this the day after my birthday so after a few weeks of trying this out I now have my review for all of you. I also will be starting a new foundation in the coming days so look out for a review on that sometime soon. I have to finish up my current Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation which is almost empty. I have found that this year I refuse to start a new foundation unless I have emptied one. This has become very useful for me since I go between 3 or 4 foundations in my rotation. Now back to this Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier Repair Cream. It retails for $70.00 at Sephora and for me it is worth it.

My combination skin tye has been very happy since adding this product into my routine. It has been very cold here on the East Coast so every night during my night skincare routine I use the Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier Repair Cream and it has given my skin the long lasting hydration it promises. I have had no dry flakes patches on my skin that your foundation clings to in that weird way ( if you know you know) My skin has this bounce and plumpness to it. This has no scent and just feels so luxurious on the skin and on very dry skin days you can add a pump of the Drunk Elephant F-Balm like I do at least 2 or 3 times a week when the weather outside includes a wind chill factor. For me this is worth every dollar spent and I will be repuchasing it for the foreseeable future like many other Drunk Elephant products.

An Update & A Message

Hello Beauty Bag Dolls! I am jumping on my here just to let you know that just because TikTok is looking like it will be a thing in the past very soon we will be okay. I have always been posting on here more as well as Instagram,  X (Twitter) and Pinterest. As I posted on X a few days ago my blog has been my first passion for 12 plus years and it will continue to be. I believe I was one of the last people to join TikTok because I have never been an in front of the camera kind of woman. I prefer to write. On another note I do have some new reviews coming because I did make some Birthday purchases and I am trying them out. You can look forward to a luxury lipbalm and a new to me moisturizer and a foundation. I know I have a addiction to trying out foundations its also not a brand new one to the market but its new to me. I didn't go overboard this year since it's right after the Holidays I wanted to get things I really think would benefit me. Also my man got me a new Nespresso Machine(as well as a Sephora and Ulta Beauty gift cards)so I will have a Instagram post on my recommend Nespresso pods. I have been trying different ones out so be ready for a post on that. What I do recommend right now to drink in the coffee world is the Starbucks Coffee Concentrates. I will post a picture below. I also will try to start posting different kinds of content for all of you because I have received all of your questions and DM's in Instagram and X. belif Aqua Bomb Eye Gel

Happy Saturday Beauty Bag Dolls!! I have been busy testing out a product specifically for my under eye area particularly for dark circles and eye bags. My particularly concern is dark circles so I was thrilled at the chance to try this brand new launch from belif and I want to let you all know this is my latest BzzAgent mission so I want to thank them as well for sending me this complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review. The cost for this is $32.00 and it it is sold at Sephora. This is not my most expensive eye cream but for me mid range since I have paid anywhere between 25 to 60 dollars for an eye cream. Right now I am loving this one for my PM routine because it works best for me to have the appearance of lighter dark circles. I did use it twice a day for a few days but then changed up to my currentPM only routine. Now that I clarified a few things that I do not need to do for my BzzAgent review I will attach my review that I left for BzzAgent below.

The belif Aqua Bomb Eye Gel is the only eye product that has worked for my dark circles. The results for me were visible after 3 days of use both AM and PM application. It also helped with puffiness immediately not only because of the formula but because the ceramic applicator is so cooling and a perfect touch. I really have nothing this good that I have tried that truly helped with dark circles, I use it under my makeup and my makeup lays smooth and looks hydrated. I highly recommend the belif Aqua Bomb Eye Gel because it works!!

e.l.f. Power Grip Primer

Beauty Bag Dolls I have been busy with life but I have been trying a lot of different products to review for all of you. I have been going to Ulta and Sephora a lot to buy my Beauty products and while I was not open to a new primer for a very long time because I am obsessed with my  Ilia Beauty primer I got very interested in the e.l.f. The HIDE Hydro Foam Enzyme Cleanser is gel based high for me is preferred since I have acne prone skin. It has a great lather and in the AM it really is gentle and left my skin feeling very soft. For my PM routine it of course was gentle but it was also very effective at breaking down makeup and oils off of my skin after a long day. My skin just feels so nice and soft with HIDE's cleanser, it is just what I want not dry and tight like with other cleansers. Next is a step that a lot of us may skip I never skip toner, for me with a combination skin type that leans toward an oily skin type more days than not, toner is a non-negotiable for me and HIDE has made it so easy and effective because you get 50 Bright Swipe Exfoliating Toning Pads that are gentle I mean very gentle. I usually have that this is going to burn moment with toner but not this one. I jut swiped it across your face and there is no tingle or Sting. My face is just left feeling so good and it's bright and exfoliates. My oily T-Zone is balanced. My skin is prepped and ready to absorb serum and moisturizer.
