Summer Time Hydration

 Beauty Bag Dolls I have a little post for you today just to give you a little heads up on how I keep my skin hydrated for the summer and the different types of ways to hydrate. Read on to learn more and I really how this helps.

There are four main types of topical products that people can use to hydrate their skin: lotions, creams, ointments, and gels.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✔️ Lotions are best for daytime moisturizers on the face and body. They work well when applied after shaving.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✔️ Specialty creams for the face differ from those for the body, but all creams are best used at night, when the heavier fats can better sink into the skin.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✔️ Ointments and gels are less common, but ointments, due to their greasy sheen, are beneficial for adding a protective layer in non-humid environments. What is included in the It Cosmetics TSV is: 

*1.08-fl oz Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ I have used this time and time again I have a full review here 

*0.30-fl oz Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara in Black This mascara was in my rotation for a very long time (I even reviewed last year) until it was not because I felt that the formula had changed ( I recently stopped using it around April of this year). My full review is here. 

*0.5-oz Superhero No-Tug Shadow Stick in Silk Armor, a rose gold shade This is new!

*0.5 oz Superhero No-Tug Shadow Stick in Bionic Bronze, a brightening bronze shade This is new!

*Heavenly Luxe CC+ Skin Perfecting Brush The It Cosmetics brushes are always amazing I used them 75% of the time. 

My thoughts on the shadow sticks are that yes I am excited about them. I hope they are as good as their eyeshadow pallets because those are the ones I use about 50% of the time when doing my eye makeup. I have yet to have a good experaince with eye shadow sticks (with other brands) so I have hope. I wish that It Cosmetics included at least 3 shades in this TSV to truly make a complete eye shadow look. For me the only thing that temps me to buy this TSV is the Eye Shadow sticks and brush. I already own the CC Cream since I repurchased it 2 months ago and use it about 2 times a week the tube lasts at least 6 months with twice a week use. I am not a big fan anymore oft Superhero mascara and I can recommend PUR On Point 4 in 1 Mascara with Hemp and I like that one a lot I am loving another one and will have a review for it coming the first week of August so be on the lookout for my new mascara LOVE and enjoy the one I am liking right now. Now if your looking for something other than the It Cosmetics CC Cream and are curious as to what foundation with an SPF I have been using almost every day about 4 days a week is the Bareminerals newest foundation with SPF and I have full review here. One that I love but it does not have SPF is the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Stick Foundation full review here.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer

 Beauty Bag Dolls I have a brand new product launch to bring to you today! It officially launched on July 12, 2021 and I have been using it for a few day before that. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer was sent to me complimentary via Influenster.com I am so very lucky to have received another one of their amazing Voxboxes that I get to try out and review for all of you. I have the shade Sun Kissed which for me is perfect to use as an all over bronzer year round as well as for contouring. Looking at the chart on the Anastasia website I made the perfect choice for me with the shade so that I can use this year round and have a prefect sun kissed looked for my skin tone. Now from the brand Anastasia Beverly Hills state that this "Cream Bronzer debuts a revolutionary new, weightless cream formula for sun-kissed color. A side note from me at only $35 this is the most affordable bronzer I own. 

This brand new cream bronzer from Anastasia Beverly Hills has quickly become my favorite cream bronzer in my makeup routine. 

My Review:

I am so happy with this brand new cream bronzer that arrived at my doorstep a few days ago. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer is amazing. It blends like a dream when you want an all over glow and contours perfectly. I use it with a brush to apply and it blends out beautifully and lasts all day. The matte finish is just what I needed with my combination skin type and  this #abhcreambronzer is better than my other bronzers and this one is super affordable at $35 versus my usual cream bronzer which is $50. I have stopped using that one completely and only use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Bronzer each and every day. It never smears even in the heat and humidity of summer. PUR ON POINT MASCARA with Hemp

 The best mascara arrived at my home last week and I must give BzzAgent credit for sending it over in exchange for honest review. I leave my review for them and I will attach that review below. However in the review I don't get into the details about the great ingredients that are in the PUR On Point Mascara with Hemp. I will give you the details on the important points about this mascara and then leave you the review I left for BzzAgent. Also this costs $22.00 on the PUR website as well as Ulta Beauty. For me this is an affordable mascara and I love it. Not to mention it is cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, hemp derived and has biotin. For me that is all just awesome!

My newest beauty bag must have! This mascara is on point!

I am officially on point with my eye lashes. I have used the PUR On Point Mascara with Hemp every single day since it arrived and I love it. I look for a mascara that has volume and lift to my lashes, this one does all that and more including length! The intense pigment was perfection and never flaked off even after a 14 hour day. My lashes felt soft to the touch never crunchy and I got the impact I look for in my eye lashes when I use mascara. This mascara after removal left my lashes feeling soft and I never lost any which is an absolute joy! I am giving this a 5 star although the wand is a bit bulky and I prefer a thin one I go to used to it after 2 days. This mascara is a beauty bag must have!

My review:

The Ole Henriksen Dewtopia 20% Acid Night Treatment is something you must have in your nighttime skincare routine even if you have sensitive skin because this treatment is very gentle yet effective. At night one I applied and noticed a slight tingle for only about 45 seconds on night two the tingle was less than 20 seconds and on night three no tingle.  Do not be afraid of the tingle because the results after night one was truly beautiful glowing skin. After three nights my face texture was smooth and after 10 days I had noticed a complete reduction in my fines lines and acne scarring. This serum is also more thick and milky than traditional runny serums that tend to be sticky or tacky after application, this one immediately sinks in and feels matte on the skin-I love it since my skin is more combination/ oily type. You need to try this formula of acid treatment because it is gentle yet so effective at giving you results. When my bottle gets half way I am running to Sephora not walking to repurchase. Its a must have!
