Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Longwear Matte Foundation

 Beauty Bag Dolls I am back again after what feels like a whirlwind month of February. It has gone quickly and I have been teasing you about this foundation review since my Birthday month. I did purchase this for my Birthday but I did not start using it until the end of last month because my new goals this year is to have one of my current foundations that is in my rotation. Since I recently finished one I gave the new to me Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Longwear Matte Foundation a try. Now this is a foundation that has been out for a while now and I do love the complimentary concealer to it which I have used and repurchased many times my full reviewis here. I got interested in this foundation for a few reasons. The first one is that I have a combination skin and this is a matte foundation and the second is that it has SPF 25 so I always like to take the added sun protection. Now I am also thinking spring and summer so a matte foundation for me is non- negotiable for my combination more oily prone skin type. I am also going to look for a matte primer so stay tuned for that. I purchased the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Longwear Matte Foundation in shade 235N for $53.00 on Sephora.com. This is a superior foundation. Lancome made the best foundation for my combination skin type. It is full coverage and hides any imperfections you want hidden. It sets fairly quickly. I tried to  apply it with a brush and beauty blender.  It is best applied with a brush and pressed into the skin with a damp blender. I found that with that application method, you will have a flawless face. This foundation has SPF 25 in it, which is an absolute bonus. I highly recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a Matte Foundation that wears for my 16 hour day's. I love it.

HIDE Cosmetics Setting Powder & Setting Spray

 Hi Beauty Bag Dolls! I hope your summer is shinning so far and while we squeeze out these next few weeks of late sunsets we need our makeup to last from sunrise to sunset. I am a big believer in setting powdersetting powder and setting spray and this summer has been a quest for me to find the best. Thanks to HIDE Cosmetics for  creating the perfect two products to make my makeup last formy 16 hour days. Read on to learn more.

This summer proof duo has done wonders to lock in my makeup from morning till night.

First, after applying my makeup which some days consists of the HIDE foundation and concealer or the HIDE Skin tint Booster with a touch of concealer I now have added their  HIDE Translucent Setting PowderHIDE Translucent Setting Powder and this powder is milled nicely and comes with an applicator poof. I always set my concealer under my eyes with a sponge and I take a brush to dust the setting powder all over my face. HIDE Setting Powder dusts on very nicely and does not feel heavy or cakes on the face you can use it to bake then just dust it off easily and it did not leave a dry heavy feeon my face like with other powders. Throughout the day I noticed it did control oil and shine which is always welcome for someone like me with a combination skin type. This setting powder from HIDE is my must have and the cost is $28 which if they charged double it would be worth it. This is my new go-to.

Finally, I tried the HIDE Setting Spray HIDE Setting Spray and for me I always struggle to find a setting spray that doesn't actually ruin your makeup after your done doing it. I have tried setting spray that has sprayed so much makeup that it made my makeup look like it was spotted. The HIDE Setting Spray was a perfect mist that just kissed the face and truly set my makeup and none of that spotty streaking like other brands. When combinding this setting spray with the powder and your make will not budge in this heat and humidity. This summer is very hot and humid so setting my makeup has been a priority and I am happy to say that HIDE Cosmetics has made it a slam dunk. The bottle is large 4 ounces for $26 which is a lot of product.

HIDE Foundation & Concealer

 Beauty Bag Dolls I am so excited to bring you two new reviews. I teased last week on TwitterTwitter a few times that I was searching for new foundation and concealer and by the end of the week I had both in hand and went to work testing out both for, four days but in all honesty I was so very happy with the performance of both by the end of the first day and the application and coverage was just what I needed. I know I am rambling but I am just that excited to introduce all of you to HIDE. This brand was kind enough to partner with me and send over two of their most popular products the foundation and concealer both are formulated without phthalates and are not tested on animals. HIDE Foundation and Concealer are two beauty bag must haves. The packaging is absolutely 💯!

The foundation is oil free formula with a natural finish and is medium to full coverage. I used one pump for medium coverage and pump and a half for full. I found that less is more which is great. This also good for all skin types and with my combination skin type it did not bother or irritate my skin, nor did it cause any breakouts. It felt so light on the skin and matched me perfectly. It is available in 20 shades. With using just one pump I got perfect coverage it immediately Hide from view any imperfections like acne scars or small blemishes for more coverage I added more however when I paired it with the concealer I found I needed less of the HIDE foundation and just a small amount of their HIDE concealer. For me the foundation is my new must have go to and works great applying it with a brush or damp beauty sponge. I am not someone who uses my fingers to apply foundation or concealer so I have no opinion about that. Also tested using both the HIDE foundation and concealer with a primer and without and you can get away without using a primer because this is a longwear foundation that did not crease, Crack or settle into fines lines nor did it enlarge my pores. The HIDE Foundation is a Beauty Bag must have and gets 5 $$$$$ from me the price and performance is out of this world it $30 and only sold on HIDE website.

Now for this awesome HIDE concealer I cannot believe how little you need and how great the coverage is. It is absolutely so light, I never experienced a truly weightless concealer until trying HIDE. It is exactly how HIDE describes it hydrating, weightless build able and oil free. This for me is full coverage with just a few dots or swipes on your face where you need it. Whether you have blemishes, dark circles, hyperpigmentation, acne scars etc this will cover it up and give you the coverage you always dreamed of before HIDE concealer came into your makeup routine. I could wear this alone all over my face if I am in a rush and don't have time for the full routine which would for me would have to include the HIDE foundation. I cannot say enough about this concealer it erases from view my dark circles on mornings that I went to bed late but still was up before 5AM it never creased or cracked and stayed on like the foundation for 14 hour days and only came off when I took it off. This HIDE concealer is what I have searched for and now have in combination with the HIDE foundation it's a dream team duo. I personally apply this with a damp sponge because its my personal preference you can play around and see what works for you. The HIDE concealer is available in 20 shades and costs $26 which is affordable because I would pay more for a concealer with how well it performs. I mean it even brightens my under eye so of course it is a Beauty Bag must have and gets 5 $$$$$.

Josie Maran Blush & Eye Shadow

I have now found my new favorite blush and eye shadow and it comes from Josie Maran. Josie Maran's Cheek Gelee and Coconut Watercolor Eye Shadow are my new Beauty Bag must haves!

I actually first used the blush which as you all know is something that I shy away from but I knew this one was different because I love the fact that it was buildable.  It is made with coconut water and argan oil which "adds up to a deliciously dewy blush that gives you the natural look of a cream and the hydration and staying power of a gel." According to the Josie Maran website description it lasts "up to 14 hours of color and hydration." I must say I have personally tested it and it truly does last well past 14 hours. I put my makeup on around 5 AM and don't take it off until 10 or 11pm and my Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee stood the test of long wear. It also still look great and didn't travel or fade at all! I am a huge fan of eye shadow and I have been on a quest to find a good eye shadow that has great pigment pay off, that is non irritating to my sensitive eyes and that is actually good for your eyelid. I have found few brands that meet my criteria, thankfully I can now add Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eye Shadow to the list of must have eye shadows. This was truly different than what I usually use it was a doe-foot applicator which I love and the ingredient deck was coconut water and argan oil which gave my eyelids 100% hydration with zero irritation and perfect pigment. The shade I received was Beach Sand and it is a perfect shade to create a subtle smoky eye which is what I love for a daytime look but the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eye Shadow is buildable so I love that I can add a little more to build the color. It lasts all day the from the moment I put it on until I take it off.
