Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation

 Hello to all my Beauty Bag Doll's! As you know my love for foundation as well as concealer and lip products is a real thing so of course I could not hold until the Sephora sale to purchase a new foundation I went in to buy a brow gel and walked out with that Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation and it is so good and for that I have no regrets. I don't know why I didn't try it out when it went viral about 2 years ago but I have been missing out. I purchased it in shade 160 light medium. For me shade matching is so hard even in person and online it really stresses me out but I actually picked out a great shade but be aware at first it won't seem like your shade but after Blending it out with a brush first and then going in with a damp Beauty Blender is the best application. The foundation melts into the skin. I would say it is definitely buildable coverage to about medium. It is very lightweight and feels like nothing on the skin. As for a Primer I have used a Matte one and a hydrating one it just depends on your skin type and preferences. I have also got about 10 hours of wear without a primer. But 12 plus hours with one. 

This foundation looks beautiful on the skin and warm up to your skin within a few minutes. It also plays well with your cream/ liquid blushes or bronzers and contour routines. Any powder on top works well. I am telling all of you that this foundation is seriously good. Try it if you haven't yet. It retails for $49.00 and buy it during the Sephora sale and save because I didn't but I will be buying another one. Of course I have my eye in another foundation and some concealer but I am trying to control it. Now back to the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation it is a must have. It has joined my other favorite Huda Beauty Easy Blur and Illia.

Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Stick

Hello to all of my Beauty Bag Doll's! I am here with an update and a review. In my last post I mentioned my temptation to get a new foundation and I am here to tell you I did indeed buy another new to me foundation. I also grabbed another 2 lipglosses. I can justify the  foundation because I did finish all of the Lancome foundation and in all honesty after using it for over a month I am sure I will not purchase it again. It is not a bad foundation it is just not as good as Huda Beauty Easy Blur. As far as this new one I will be adding it to my rotation this week so give me time to test and review it for you all. I also have a few more products I am waiting for to arrive and others I need to go purchase because I have eyed them up and need them including the Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Stick I am review for you today. 

This is easy to apply and blends beautifully. 

The shade Tosty is just beautiful and the shimmer is just right!

I was in Ulta Beauty buying some Beauty gifts for a friend's birthday and I was staying strong until I got to the Urban Decay section I knew I was restocking on my UD setting spray but the I spotted the eyeshadow sticks and I remembered that I have a deeper shade at home that was almost empty and the brand I use is It Cosmetics but the shade was sold out and the color match was the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Stick in Toasty on this one swatches even more beautiful because of the shimmer so I gave in and bought it. But I did walk away from a few other things and I am proud of myself for it. I love this eyeshadow stick and it retails for $25.00. I used this for several days before not only posting a review for all of you but I actually left a review on Ulta.com and I will post it below:

This is an absolutely beautiful eyeshadow. The texture and blendability is a dream. There is no tugging of the eyelid, and the pigment is stunning. There is a shimmer with no fallout, and it does not crease even after a 10 hour weartime. I highly recommend it and will be purchasing more shades.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Longwear Matte Foundation

 Beauty Bag Dolls I am back again after what feels like a whirlwind month of February. It has gone quickly and I have been teasing you about this foundation review since my Birthday month. I did purchase this for my Birthday but I did not start using it until the end of last month because my new goals this year is to have one of my current foundations that is in my rotation. Since I recently finished one I gave the new to me Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Longwear Matte Foundation a try. Now this is a foundation that has been out for a while now and I do love the complimentary concealer to it which I have used and repurchased many times my full reviewis here. I got interested in this foundation for a few reasons. The first one is that I have a combination skin and this is a matte foundation and the second is that it has SPF 25 so I always like to take the added sun protection. Now I am also thinking spring and summer so a matte foundation for me is non- negotiable for my combination more oily prone skin type. I am also going to look for a matte primer so stay tuned for that. I purchased the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Longwear Matte Foundation in shade 235N for $53.00 on Sephora.com. Read on for my thoughts.

This is a superior foundation. Lancome made the best foundation for my combination skin type. It is full coverage and hides any imperfections you want hidden. It sets fairly quickly. I tried to  apply it with a brush and beauty blender.  It is best applied with a brush and pressed into the skin with a damp blender. I found that with that application method, you will have a flawless face. This foundation has SPF 25 in it, which is an absolute bonus. I highly recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a Matte Foundation that wears for my 16 hour day's. I love it.

Huda Beauty Easy Blur Natural Airbrushed Foundation

 Happy October Beauty Bag Dolls!! I am so happy to be bringing you a review of my new favorite foundation that also happens to have just dropped on Sephora.com and in Sephora stores. The Huda Beauty Easy Blur Natural Airbrushed Foundation. I was lucky enough to get to try out this via Skeepers in exchange for honest review. I will attach my review below. Before I do that, I want tell you that this retails for $37.00 and is one ounce of product. Now read on to find out why I love it.

Huda Beauty Easy Blur Natural Airbrushed Foundation in shade Chai 210B. This is a serum foundation that I love!

I am so happy with this foundation! My combination, oily skin with pores that is acne prone has finally found a foundation that delivers exactly what it states. The Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation blurred my pores and covered my redness, post acne marks and never settled into my pores. It looked as good at the end of my 14 hour day as it did when I applied it. My skin truly looked air brushed and the foundation is so lightweight for a medium to full coverage. It has a serum like application that I love. As someone with skin issues I am so happy that this foundation exists because it is what I need and all I reach for everyday. I cannot recommend this enough.

The It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Natural Matte Foundation w/ SPF 40 is everything you need in a Foundation. I apply two pumps and it is enough product for my face and neck. The coverage is full and it blends out beautifully. It covers my imperfections and did not settle in fine lines. I have oily skin and this did not need a touch up after just a few hours in fact it looked great after a 14 hour day. It never settled in my pores and is just a great foundation.The SPF factor is another plus and I am very pleased to have a Matte Foundation that didn't dry my skin out. I recommend this to everyone who wants a full coverage Foundation that has flawless coverage.

HIDE Cosmetics Setting Powder & Setting Spray

 Hi Beauty Bag Dolls! I hope your summer is shinning so far and while we squeeze out these next few weeks of late sunsets we need our makeup to last from sunrise to sunset. I am a big believer in setting powdersetting powder and setting spray and this summer has been a quest for me to find the best. Thanks to HIDE Cosmetics for  creating the perfect two products to make my makeup last formy 16 hour days. Read on to learn more.

This summer proof duo has done wonders to lock in my makeup from morning till night.

First, after applying my makeup which some days consists of the HIDE foundation and concealer or the HIDE Skin tint Booster with a touch of concealer I now have added their  HIDE Translucent Setting PowderHIDE Translucent Setting Powder and this powder is milled nicely and comes with an applicator poof. I always set my concealer under my eyes with a sponge and I take a brush to dust the setting powder all over my face. HIDE Setting Powder dusts on very nicely and does not feel heavy or cakes on the face you can use it to bake then just dust it off easily and it did not leave a dry heavy feeon my face like with other powders. Throughout the day I noticed it did control oil and shine which is always welcome for someone like me with a combination skin type. This setting powder from HIDE is my must have and the cost is $28 which if they charged double it would be worth it. This is my new go-to.

Finally, I tried the HIDE Setting Spray HIDE Setting Spray and for me I always struggle to find a setting spray that doesn't actually ruin your makeup after your done doing it. I have tried setting spray that has sprayed so much makeup that it made my makeup look like it was spotted. The HIDE Setting Spray was a perfect mist that just kissed the face and truly set my makeup and none of that spotty streaking like other brands. When combinding this setting spray with the powder and your make will not budge in this heat and humidity. This summer is very hot and humid so setting my makeup has been a priority and I am happy to say that HIDE Cosmetics has made it a slam dunk. The bottle is large 4 ounces for $26 which is a lot of product.

HIDE Foundation & Concealer

 Beauty Bag Dolls I am so excited to bring you two new reviews. I teased last week on TwitterTwitter a few times that I was searching for new foundation and concealer and by the end of the week I had both in hand and went to work testing out both for, four days but in all honesty I was so very happy with the performance of both by the end of the first day and the application and coverage was just what I needed. I know I am rambling but I am just that excited to introduce all of you to HIDE. This brand was kind enough to partner with me and send over two of their most popular products the foundation and concealer both are formulated without phthalates and are not tested on animals. HIDE Foundation and Concealer are two beauty bag must haves. The packaging is absolutely 💯!

The foundation is oil free formula with a natural finish and is medium to full coverage. I used one pump for medium coverage and pump and a half for full. I found that less is more which is great. This also good for all skin types and with my combination skin type it did not bother or irritate my skin, nor did it cause any breakouts. It felt so light on the skin and matched me perfectly. It is available in 20 shades. With using just one pump I got perfect coverage it immediately Hide from view any imperfections like acne scars or small blemishes for more coverage I added more however when I paired it with the concealer I found I needed less of the HIDE foundation and just a small amount of their HIDE concealer. For me the foundation is my new must have go to and works great applying it with a brush or damp beauty sponge. I am not someone who uses my fingers to apply foundation or concealer so I have no opinion about that. Also tested using both the HIDE foundation and concealer with a primer and without and you can get away without using a primer because this is a longwear foundation that did not crease, Crack or settle into fines lines nor did it enlarge my pores. The HIDE Foundation is a Beauty Bag must have and gets 5 $$$$$ from me the price and performance is out of this world it $30 and only sold on HIDE website.

Now for this awesome HIDE concealer I cannot believe how little you need and how great the coverage is. It is absolutely so light, I never experienced a truly weightless concealer until trying HIDE. It is exactly how HIDE describes it hydrating, weightless build able and oil free. This for me is full coverage with just a few dots or swipes on your face where you need it. Whether you have blemishes, dark circles, hyperpigmentation, acne scars etc this will cover it up and give you the coverage you always dreamed of before HIDE concealer came into your makeup routine. I could wear this alone all over my face if I am in a rush and don't have time for the full routine which would for me would have to include the HIDE foundation. I cannot say enough about this concealer it erases from view my dark circles on mornings that I went to bed late but still was up before 5AM it never creased or cracked and stayed on like the foundation for 14 hour days and only came off when I took it off. This HIDE concealer is what I have searched for and now have in combination with the HIDE foundation it's a dream team duo. I personally apply this with a damp sponge because its my personal preference you can play around and see what works for you. The HIDE concealer is available in 20 shades and costs $26 which is affordable because I would pay more for a concealer with how well it performs. I mean it even brightens my under eye so of course it is a Beauty Bag must have and gets 5 $$$$$.

Shiseido Synchro Skin Glow Luminizing Fluid Foundation w/SPF 20 & Giveaway/Chat

 Beauty Bag Dolls I went and did it again I bought another foundation, but of course I had good reasons. First, reason was that I was running very low at the time of purchase (now empty) of my Ilia foundation and my previous Shiseido was sitting in my empties, but I wanted something new and different this time around and I wanted it to have SPF in it and some glow for spring and summer. I did some research and decided to repurchase my Ilia because I do like it and the Sephora Rouge sale was going on so why not save 20% since I know it about a month or so I will need more foundation, but instead of getting my usual Shiseido that is oil free and has SPF 30, I went with the Shiseido Synchro Skin Glow Luminizing Fluid Foundation w/SPF 20. Update: What did you all haul during the Sephora sale? I got some new skincare and of course after using the new foundation mentioned above, I had to buy a concealer, but my shade was sold out online, so I headed to Sephora and bought the last new Dior concealer in my shade. Ilia True Skin Primer, Foundation & Concealer

 Beauty Bag Dolls I have a triple review for you today! As promised a little while back I was on a search for the perfect new foundation. I did say I wanted a primer and concealer from the same brand since I have found that matching the brand works best for me for a while now. I searched for a while researching and trying to make the best choice for my skin type, I also wanted something on the clean beauty side, and I have found the Ilia True Skin Radiant Priming Serum, Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation and Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer. The price at Sephora and the Ilia website is for the Primer $54.00, the Foundation $52.00 and the Concealer is $30.00. 

These three amazing products from Ilia are a beauty bag must! Due note that the Foundation drops on February 8, 2022 at Sephora.com 

The Ilia True Radiant Priming Serum is great. It applies like a serum and dries in a minute. My skin feels soft and matte ready for makeup. This is a must have because it is a skincare primer which is rare in the makeup world. I struggle to find a good primer that doesn't break me out and this one is the winner! I did notice however an off smell to this one it can be a deal breaker on some days, I won't use it.

The Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer is amazing. It feels light on the skin yet gives you full coverage. I hide my dark circles easily, some blemishes as well. In fact, I felt when I removed my makeup after a few days of use it helped to heal my blemishes. It was a medium coverage and never ever felt heavy. I paired it with the Ilia primer and their foundation as well, so my combination skin never felt overly dry just a nice matte finish. That being said I will repurchase before I run out. I will try another shade because with concealers I like to have a few different shades on hand for when I am sunless tanning.

The Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation has great coverage. It feels light on the skin yet gives you full coverage. I hide my blemishes and even out my skin. In fact, it truly felt like nothing on my face, and I never had mid-day shine in my T-Zone. I paired it with the Ilia primer and their concealer as well, so my combination skin never felt overly dry just a nice matte finish. That being said I will repurchase before I run out. 

An additional note: I am a big fan of this brand since trying their mascara in fact it is my must have go to and I was thrilled to fall head over heals for this trio of products!

Hey Beauty Bag Dolls. I have a tiny sneak peek of the upcoming March Today Special Values for QVC. What are you interested in? I have my eye on the NYDJ, Fashion and of course the Beauty Day on the 8th this Beauty Day on the 8th is interesting so I will be on the lookout to purchase. How have your beauty purchases gone so far? I have started a new eye cream and its seeming like a failure because I stopped using it and now, I purchased another. (I will reveal the brand in a few days after one more try). Also, still on the hunt for a new foundation, concealer and primer. I am struggling because I would like for it to be from the same brand all three. That has worked for me so far and I would like to stick with it since mixing and matching has irritated my skin in the past. I am again leaning toward clean beauty like my bareMinerals foundation which I have been using for over a year now (interchanging with others of course) but I have that urge to switch it up. I want to have a new foundation in my rotation next month a review for you after that. I am also trying out a new weekly facial treatment and I will have a new review for you soon. *Heavenly Luxe CC+ Skin Perfecting Brush The It Cosmetics brushes are always amazing I used them 75% of the time. 

My thoughts on the shadow sticks are that yes I am excited about them. I hope they are as good as their eyeshadow pallets because those are the ones I use about 50% of the time when doing my eye makeup. I have yet to have a good experaince with eye shadow sticks (with other brands) so I have hope. I wish that It Cosmetics included at least 3 shades in this TSV to truly make a complete eye shadow look. For me the only thing that temps me to buy this TSV is the Eye Shadow sticks and brush. I already own the CC Cream since I repurchased it 2 months ago and use it about 2 times a week the tube lasts at least 6 months with twice a week use. I am not a big fan anymore oft Superhero mascara and I can recommend PUR On Point 4 in 1 Mascara with Hemp and I like that one a lot I am loving another one and will have a review for it coming the first week of August so be on the lookout for my new mascara LOVE and enjoy the one I am liking right now. bareMinerals Original Liquid Foundation

 Beauty Bag Bolls i am so excited to bring to you today a review of the newest foundation to the bareMinerals line. I know that it has been out for a little while now however, it is new to me and I love it. The bareMinerals Original Liquid Foundation appealed to me a few weeks into my journey with Bobbi Brown Concealer, corrector and Stick Foundation  which you can read that full review here. I do love those products from Bobbi Brown and recently repurchased all three as well because I was running very low and that corrector I discovered is something you didn't know you needed until you used it. But as I mentioned in that review I wanted something with SPF in it because summer is on and of course I use SPF all day everyday year round but I am a person who loves it built into most foundation's and Bobbi Brown Stick Form did not have that I buy that for the quick application and use a separate SPF but now I have been also using the AMAZING bareMinerals Original Liquid Foundation  with SPF 20 and it only has 19 ingredients which is something I have never used before in a liquid foundation. My love bareMinerals products started much earlier this year and it was with their skincare I have review of that here.

I could not wait any longer to share with you the bareMinerals Original Liquid Mineral Foundation with SPF 20 I teased you about a new foundation that I love (and was rotating into my makeup routine) in my last blog post. It is a lightweight formula that is medium coverage with beautyblender sponge application or more full coverage with a foundation brush  I love how it only has 19 ingredients.  It leaves a luminous finish that give you that summer glow. I love taking the It Brush for Ulta Flawless Foundation Brush and sweep two pump's of the foundation. I smooth it across my face an it instantly evens out my skin covering any imperfection including acne, acne scars and even some dark spots are all erased from view.
