Beauty Bag Dolls I have a review for you from one of my favorite brands Drunk Elephant. Let me tell you their skincare has done wonders for my skin and I will not go back to anything with the suspicious 6 ingredients in them now a little background information if you are new to Drunk Elephant skincare is that this brand has removed what they call the "suspicious six" from their ingredient deck which includes Essential Oils, Drying Alcohols, Silicones, Chemical Screens, Fragrance/Dyes and SLS. What I am reviewing today is the Drunk Elephant The Littles. This are absolutely the perfect size for you travel with, try Drunk Elephant out for the first time with or gift to a college kid who has minimal space in their dorm room but want to keep a skincare routine that works. Every great skincare routine does start with a great cleanser and Drunk Elephant The Littles included  the Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser is amazing. It dissolved on my makeup and didn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry just soft and clean. I used this each night and followed up with the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum directly on my face and pressed it in. This did tingle a little bit the first 3 nights I applied and never tingled after that. It sank into my skin nicely and I waited about a minute before applying my For me a multivitamin eye cream is a dream. I always want to apply something at night that will help my eye area brighten up my dark circles and keep the area firm. The Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream is described as a "rich and restorative, featuring a brightening combination of eight peptides, five forms of vitamin C and cucumber extract for firmer, stronger-looking skin around the eye area." Now don't be intimidated by the word rich (if your like me with oily eyelids the word rich is scary) because it is so fast absorbing that you will apply it and it will quickly sink in.  Each night and day I topped off the serum step by taking a scooped of the The Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream truly helps, it absorbs quickly which is great in the AM when you apply makeup after and in the evening when I like to combine it with the B-Hydra Intensive Serum and or I would mix in Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil because I need extra hydration. In the mornings I topped that with the Umbra Tinte Daily Defense SPF 30.  In the AM I omitted the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum and instead used it with one pump of the C-Firma Day Serum and one pump of the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum. Everyone needs to adjust what they use when for their own skin type and your personal routine, this is just mine and my results were jaw dropping. I want to also mention that since beginning to use the Drunk Elephant brand in January of this year  I didn't have any acne breakouts and in fact they had healed up and my skin was balanced for the first time in a very long time! The Drunk Elephant line has even healed up some old acne marks I had that I thought would never go away! I honestly have not use to many other brands since starting Drunk Elephant  I credit getting rid of the suspicious 6 really calmed my skin and made it healthy and glowing! I am beyond thrilled!

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream

Oh Beauty Bag Dolls I am so happy because I am lucky enough to be brining you another review from my new favorite brand I say new because I have been using Drunk Elephant products since January of this year and my skin has been loving it! The latest must have I am adding to my Drunk Elephant skincare routine is the Protini Polypepide Cream. This cream is more than a moisturizer for me. It is packed with "9 signal peptides (made up of amino acids that form proteins in the skin) are cell-communicating and serve to bind moisture to skin, plump, firm and restore bounce to skin’s appearance, helping to boost skin’s self-renewal." I adore the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream for so many reasons and to find out why read on.

The Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream is a skin savoir. My skin is plump and hydrated thanks to Protini and I will never be without it in my Beauty Bag! 

It is no secret that my skin is combination, sensitive and acne prone. At times its oily and at times its dry. No matter what I always use a moisturizer however it is difficult to find one that doenst cause a breakout or sensitivity, until now! I will tell you right now this does not cause any skin irritation and I have not had any breakouts in fact it helps to heal while it moisturizes my skin perfectly causeing it to just be balanced. Its not too oily and its never super dry. The Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream truly helps, it aborbs quickly which is great in the AM when you apply makeup after and in the evening when I like to combine it with the B-Hydra Intensive Serum (I have a little left from the Littles Collection click here for review) Its also perfect in my AM routine when I mix it in with the little bit of C-Firma Day Serum I have left for the Littles collection review here. The best way it helps is on the 3 or 4 days a week I use the A-Passioni Retinal Cream (full review of A-Passioni here) it really keeps your skin balanced and I never have any dryness. The  Protini Polypeptide Cream has plumped my skin with hydration and nutrients and none of the bad stuff that other skincare lines have. I also noticed that my skin is much more firm which is something I have been wanting in a moisturizer and didn't fine until the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream came into my life. I have never been more impressed by a moisturizer than I am by the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream and I have tried their LaLa Retro Cream which is also awesome! I also tried that in the Little collection full review here. I am drunk in love with  Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream along with many other products from the line and the Protini Polypepetide Cream is a 5 $$$$$ and it gets EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream

Beauty Bag Dolls the review I am about to bring to you is truly a personal one because it involves Retinol. Now if your like me with sensitive, acne prone skin that tends to be oily to dry depending on its mood you hesitate when it comes to retinol. Although I know I need it, it has always scared me because in the past if has hurt my skin instead of helping it. That being said please put all of your worries and common misconceptions behind you because Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream has broken through all of my stereotypes. Drunk Elephant describes A-Passioni Retinol Cream as "Retinol reimagined. A-Passioni Retinol Cream is a clean, cutting-edge formula that combines 1.0% vegan retinol with nourishing, superfood-rich ingredients to dramatically diminish the appearance of fine lines, deep wrinkles and sun damage revealing a vibrant, younger-looking complexion." This is the absolute must have for anyone who wants Retinol in their skincare routine but has sensitive skin. The Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream works on my sensitive skin and I am so happy! My spring skincare reboot is in full swing!

When I reach for the Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream I take a look in a mirror and of course I use the retinol in strategic areas. For me I like to use it on my forehead to smooth the fine lines, on some dark spots and acne scars on my face as well as the pesky laugh lines. Now the Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream is to be used one or two times a week AM or PM gradually increasing your frequency to every other night and then every night as your skin tolerates it. I personally use this twice a week for 2 weeks and then I use it about 4 days a week there after. The recommendation from Drunk Elephant is to use a pea-size amount or less to clean dry skin which is what I did. You can also mix it with your favorite Drunk Elephant Cream or Oil I used it the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum included in the box of A-Passioni Retinol Cream and some of their Protini Polypeptide Cream. After the first application I was thrilled not to have any irritoation or redness at all (that was a first for me with Retinol) Then I used it a second time that week and had no issues. After my third application I woke up in the morning and just noticed my skin was a little dry after the 4th application dry and flakey so I used a thicker moisturizer and did not have an issue. I did continue to increase the use of the A-Passioni Retinal Cream to about 4 days a week and I had great results. My forehead fine lines had truly diminished and my acne scars were faded which meant I didn't have to use as much concealer. I can finally say that I LOVE a retinol cream and its all thanks to Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream! This is apart of my Spring Skincare Reboot! This is a beauty bag must that gets 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA!

They have the best skincare out and now they have brought us Drunk Elephant fans the absolute BEST that's right the best Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser. I have tried many and most work but they still do require extra cleanse and they leave your skin feeling tight, dry and your eyes irritated and now Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser has all of them beat all still being gentle. That's right its so gentle yet your toughest makeup does not stand a chance. Read on to learn more about the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser.

The best cleanser in my beauty bag is the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser it is cleanser and skincare for my sensitive skin and it rocks!

Drunk Elephant thinks of everything when creating a product and when they bring it to us its always perfection. When you open your cute green box you will immediately see that the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser comes with a little spatula to scrape out the right amount of melting butter which also sanitary compared to using your fingers but you also notice that it is magnetized and attaches to the lid automatically so you will never lose it. I adore that detail its so important and then they include a sample size of their Bamboo Booster. We will get to the booster in a minute. The Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is described as "an innovative cleansing balm that melts all traces of dirt, makeup and sunscreen from skin. Gentle enough to be used around the eye area, it quickly transforms from oil to milk upon contact with water. Skin compatible Slaai effortlessly removes even water-resistant formulations and is free of PEGs and essential oils." You use this on dry skin and massage it in. You will see if just melt off all of your makeup and I mean all of it. Everything from long wear foundation to water proof eye liner and mascara. It truly just amazes me and the best part of my makeup removal routine now because I just melt off my makeup with the Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter cleanser and rinse it off with warm water and I am done I don't need to double cleanse at all no need. My face is just clean in fact I did test it out. I took out my favorite toner and a cotton pad and used all over my face with other cleaning melting oils excess makeup reside is found on my cotton pad if I do not double cleanse however I am thrilled to report that the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser took off all my makeup the toner just toned my skin and my cotton pad was a wet white cotton pad with no makeup residue I was thrilled. Now as I mentioned the Bamboo Booster that is include as a sample size but this little product is mighty! Twice a week in the morning instead of using my Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser I sprinkle the Bamboo Booster onto the Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter and it turns it into an exfoliator which feels really wonderful on my skin and leaves it feeling clean and looking bright. In fact the charcoal is helping with my acne which is an absolute plus! I love the combination and I am excited for a full size of the Bamboo Booster to come out.

Over all the Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is a Beauty Bag Must Have that gets a 5 $$$$$ from me as well as EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA! It is so good for all skin types and for me with sensitive acne prone skin that is a lot! I have been using it every day since it has arrived and my skin feels hydrated and soft from a cleanser!

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial

As you know if you have been following this blog I am a mask lover and I have tried many however I have never tried one like the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial. This is skin changing for the better times a million. If I could get a professional facial I would but its not always possible and now you don't need to get one because you can give yourself one once a week and it only takes 20 minutes!  Read on to learn more about the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. The once a week facial you get home is truly your skin's dream come true! I love the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial and remember to follow up with a mix of their Virgin Marula Oil and Lala Retro Whipped Cream!

I know your wondering what exactly is the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial well Drunk Elephant (DE) describes it as "a pro-quality AHA/BHA “facial” that resurfaces to reveal greater clarity, improved skin texture and tone and a more youthful radiance. Think of it as an extra nudge for stubborn, dull skin (in other words, it’ll knock your cells off)."  I can say that this Babyfacial does everything it says and more. My skin was so soft and glowing after I rinsed and pat my face dry it was remarkable. It can also attest to the fact that it seemed to have faded some of my acne scars/spots which are the most stubborn thing on my skin besides the acne breakout itself. That being said I have acne prone super sensitive skin and this did not hurt my skin. It tingled a little for a little over a minute after I applied it and I kept it on for 20 minutes and after I rinsed I was so happy that my face was not red at all. I use another brand that resurfaces my face but it leaves it read and irritated for an hour after however, the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial did just the opposite. My skin was glowing, bright and soft! Included in this packaging is a sample size of the Virgin Marula Oil which I have reviewed for you and love I use it daily. You follow up with the DE Virgin Marula Oil but I like to take it one step further and mix the Virgin Marula Oil with the their amazing Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (reviewed previously here) and included in photo above. It truly helps to hydrate and nourish my skin after this amazing  T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial. The ingrient deck in the Babyfacial is as follows according to Drunk Elephant "25% AHA and 2% BHA blend including our dream team Glycolic plus Tartaric, Lactic, Citric and Salicylic acids to gently but efficiently resurface as it exfoliates the pore lining, getting rid of built-up dead skin cells by breaking down the substance that holds them to the surface. Babyfacial combines potent antioxidants such as matcha tea, apple fruit and milk thistle to soothe with ultra-hydrating sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer and non-fragrant plant oils to replenish moisture and nourish skin. We chose chick pea flour over clay for brightening and balancing without over-drying and pumpkin ferment for amazing enzymatic action."

Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm

I am so happy to be brining you a review from my favorite skincare brand Drunk Elephant. Today I have a review of the lip balm and I am a lip balm lover so when this arrived I was thrilled to try it out. It is the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm and it is amazing! The Drunk Elephant line has quickly become my favorite and I reviewed their products in the past click here to find out what I love. Read on to learn more about my experience with the Lippe Balm.

Finally a lip balm you only need to apply about 3 times a day and you get the soft hydrated lips you dream of! Thank you Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm

Drunk Elephant describes the Lippe Balm as "a moisturizing, volumizing lip balm that helps nourish super-delicate lips for a noticeably plump, youthful-looking pout." I must attest that it is so hydrating and one swipe across my top lip and two swipes across my bottom lip with smack your lips together motion and your lips are left with a creamy nourished feeling. They are hydrated without being overly tacky so in the morning you can go on to use your favorite lipstick or lip gloss. Your lips will feel smooth and soft. I noticed the were a more plump as well which is always a welcome sight. On days where I didn't use any lip gloss or lipstick I could see and feel that lips never got dry or chapped. They always felt soft, smooth and hydrated. I only need to apply it 3 times a day never having to reach for it every other hour like other lip balms. I was so happy that I did have to reapply the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm so many times and then I saw the ingredient deck and knew why. DE (Drunk Elephant) uses a "clean formulation is spiked with an exotic blend of avocado, mongongo, cranberry and marula oils to deeply moisturize, replenish, hydrate and soften delicate lips." I also noticed that my sensitive lips had no issues it was a relief to know that my new go to must have lip balm is from DE and that it is "loaded with antioxidant-rich green tea leaf and vitamin C, Lippe Balm  helps neutralize free radicals and environmental aggressors which cause premature signs of aging." I am addicted to my Lippe Balm and it is a Beauty Bag must that gets a 5 $$$$$ and EXTRA LOVE FROM ANNA! I will go nowhere without it! I also want to note that it does not smell like anything however it does taste a little sweet, nothing over powering its just perfect!
