Real Techniques Limited Edition H-Diamond Blending Brush

Happy Tuesday Beauty Bag Doll's! How have all of you been? My summer has been pretty busy, but never busy enough not to be shopping at my two favorite stores Ulta and Sephora of course. Now most recently, I was on a restock trip to Ulta for some haircare when the Real Techniques aisle caught my attention along with Morphe but with Morphe everything was out of stock that I was interested in so I have to stop back in or order on Morphe's website. But the one item that really caught my eye was the Real Techniques H-Diamond Blending Brush from a limited edition collection called New Nudes 2.0 and this beautiful Brush only costs $11.99 but after using it and I am thrilled with how well it works the quality of this brush is phenomenal for the price which I think is to low but I think k is too low but I am not complaining. In fact I will be heading to Ulta at the end of the week to buy another one and to buy a few as gifts. But read on for my full review that I even left on Ulta.com because I believe in this brush that much.

The brush itself is very dense yet soft and never leaves your makeup looking streaky.

I am beyond impressed by this Real  Techniques H-Diamond Blending Brush. This brand never disappoints. This brush blends out my foundation without the need to go back and press the makeup in with a damp sponge because this brush does not leave streaks! I am so happy with how dense it is and how it fits the curves of my face. It is also durable and has a beautiful pink translucent handle. I have used it every day since receiving it, and I have washed it, and it holds up perfectly. I highly recommend it for foundation and for applying contour.

Juvia's Place Blushed Cream Blush

 Hello Beauty Bag Doll's! I am happy to be back after a bit of an intermission. I have been super busy but I have still been testing several products that I have purchased over that past month or so. This new blush is one of them. The Juvia's Place Blushed Cream Blush caught my eye several weeks ago on a restock trip to Ulta Beauty and I walked away and then regretted it so went back to buy it the next week and I have not stopped using it since. I rarely change up my blush, but this one has officially got me. I now layer my Blush or just wear this beautiful shade Peach Please alone. For me to change my blush and for it not to be a pink shade but a gorgeous peachy coral is really big. I try a lot of blushes and they all fail me but this one. The Juvia's Place Blushed Cream Blush in shade Peach Please is a must-have and it costs $16.00 and you can buy it in store or online at Ulta Beauty. I think everyone is sleeping on this blush and it's not talked about on social media enough. I have posted a review on Ulta.com because I adore this blush so much. I will post my review below.

The best new blush I have tried and incorporated into my makeup routine in a long time! Juvia's Place Blushed Cream Blush is a beauty bag must have!

This is an absolutely beautiful blush. I have it in the shade, Peach Please, and it is creamy, bendable, and perfectly pigmented.  I will say it is buildable, so do not be intimidated by the shades. They are so good. Juvia's Place is really a top-notch brand. I have already gotten more shades of the blush and will not be without it.

e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer

Beauty Bag Doll's I am so happy to be bringing you another review of a product that I really like. The e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer which just recently launched and retails for $10. I was lucky enough to receive this from Topbox Circle in exchange for my honest review. I was very excited about this launch because I am a big fan of their Power Grip Primer + 4% Niacinimamide as well as their Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray. The e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer caught my eye because it is Matte and my combination skin type that is more oily is just what I need. Since I am a Topbox Circle member I was lucky to qualify for this to sample and I jumped on the chance. Read on for my review.

I used the e.l.f. Power Grip Matte Primer daily for over a week and with different types of foundations to give this Primer the ultimate test. I am happy to say that it really does work. My makeup lasted all day which for me is anywhere from 10 to 16 hour's. This kept my oily skin at bay with some days getting no touch-ups and I am thrilled to say this did not cause any breakouts on my acne prone skin. It is a clear Primer and after applying it I wait about a minute before starting my makeup and it gets very sticky which helps with getting your makeup to grip o to my skin. It also did elp with blurring my pores. I highly recommend this Primer.

A New Year A New You

 Hello Beauty Bag Dolls and Happy New Year!! 2025 is really here and I know it's been 6 day's into it, my life since the holidays has not slowed down one bit. As many of you know it is a short window from Christmas to New Year to my Birthday in just mere day's so between getting together with friends and family while balancing work and play I don't have much time to breathe and it's my Birthday boom I a year wiser. With all that being said I just want update you on the upcoming month of blog/Instagram/ Twitter/TikTok posts you have to look forward to.

I have been taking these last few days before my birthday week and decluttering my skincare, haircare and makeup products that no longer serve me. I started with haircare and I must admit I have only been reaching between two brands one is Ouai and the second is Amika. I have been obsessed with haircare and lipcare products these past two months. As a matter a fact I have a Sephora cart right now with one new haircare product I have been eying and a lip product. To top it off the Birthday gift Sephora is offering is just awesome. It is one haircare product from Amika and a Makeup by Mario lip kit that has caught my attention. Leaning hard towards the lip kit because I already own and use all three pieces of the Amika Birthday kit in fact its a product I will repurchase this week. It's called the Kure from Amika I highly recommend it.

I remember when I was obsessed with foundation and concealer. As of now I cut multiple foundations and concealers that did me no favors and I am sticking with Huda Beauty Easy Blur Foundation and Dior Concealer. The Huda Beauty foundation is fairly new but by late February I will be purchasing my third and the Dior Concealer is my absolute favorite for so long I have gone through countless tubes. Just repurchased a fresh one in December. I will be working on my skincare decluttering this week before I checkout on Sephora.com with my Birthday gifts to myself...stay tuned for reviews and social media unboxing. 

For me the new year is all about resetting and refreshing but it also mean my birthday is almost here and I want to treat myself to something nice. I am just talking my time this year and making wise choices and not rushing to check out just to have my goodies here for my birthday. I like to view it as my birthday month. PUR ON POINT MASCARA with Hemp

 The best mascara arrived at my home last week and I must give BzzAgent credit for sending it over in exchange for honest review. I leave my review for them and I will attach that review below. However in the review I don't get into the details about the great ingredients that are in the PUR On Point Mascara with Hemp. I will give you the details on the important points about this mascara and then leave you the review I left for BzzAgent. Also this costs $22.00 on the PUR website as well as Ulta Beauty. For me this is an affordable mascara and I love it. Not to mention it is cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, hemp derived and has biotin. For me that is all just awesome!

I am officially on point with my eye lashes. I have used the PUR On Point Mascara with Hemp every single day since it arrived and I love it. I look for a mascara that has volume and lift to my lashes, this one does all that and more including length! The intense pigment was perfection and never flaked off even after a 14 hour day. My lashes felt soft to the touch never crunchy and I got the impact I look for in my eye lashes when I use mascara. This mascara after removal left my lashes feeling soft and I never lost any which is an absolute joy! I am giving this a 5 star although the wand is a bit bulky and I prefer a thin one I go to used to it after 2 days. This mascara is a beauty bag must have!

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask

 Beauty Bag Dolls I was on an innocent run to Ulta  Beauty to restock (I swear I was just restocking) on a few thing one was the Philosophy Purity Made Simple Oil Free Cleanser (this will be my third bottle) yes I love it that much and some Glamglow (a mask and their moisturizer Review to come on those) and my favorite bareMinerals serum, but of course while shopping for Philosophy I can never just walk away my eye catches on the Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask. I am if you did not know this and are new to my blog obsessed with masks, I find them to be extremely effective treatment in keeping my skin clear of acne (most days) oil free yet hydrated and just smooth and glowing depending on what masks you use. My pores have been under control for the most part but after checking the packing on the Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask I was impressed that it was good for all skin types and helps with black heads. I have been having an issue with black heads because of the need to wear face coverings for hours on end at work (no not complaining just stating what is happening with my skin because of the face coverings, I will wear a mask to prevent the spread of Covid for as long as I need to.)  My mind was on this Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask and the more I read about it on the packaging and googled it on my phone the more I knew I needed to have it. Of course I purchased it and while online on the Ulta Beauty App I saw other products that I wanted from Philosophy that were online only exclusives of course I went ahead and purchased that online at home later that day and a review on that is to come.

It Cosmetics Eye Creams

Hello Beauty Bag Dolls I have a very special review for you today coming from one of my favorite brands in eye creams, It Cosmetics. These days my eyes are doing a lot of talking. I am wearing a face covering everywhere I go and I use concealers, foundations, eye liner, mascara and of course eye shadow. While all that is fine sometimes it can make my skin look a little tiered after removing everything so day and night I use eye cream and each day can be different depending on if my dark circles are worse or better if my eye are seems drier or oily so the perfect products I have found are It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Cream and It Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream. Read on to learn why I love these two and keep them in my rotation for AM or PM routines. 

First up the It Cosmetics  Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream is made just for fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. Most morning I have some puffiness and at times the dark circles accompany the puffiness. I usually only use an eye cream in the evenings because I have had bad experiences with them as in irritation and sensitively, I mean to the point where my eyes tear so bad I couldn't apply eye makeup in morning and go on about my day normally. That has all changed thanks to the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream. This not only feels as amazing and it also DOES NOT IRRITATE my sensitive eyes! I am thrilled to report that if I apply this in the AM before makeup my eyes have no issues in fact my fines lines have disappeared within a week and I love when I apply it PM and wake up in the AM I do not have puffiness or dark circles. The hydration around my eye area improved immediately and with ingredients such as anti-aging copper, blue algae, caffeine, Vitamin C, collagen, cucumber extract and peptides I now know why I have such great results. The eye cream has a blue tint to it which is what helps brighten the eye area upon application and I love that effect when I apply this in the morning after not getting enough sleep. It Cosmetics  Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream feels great on my skin and absorbs quickly. 

Next, Confidence in an Eye Cream now this is an eye I love in fact  I have gone through 4 jars of this wonderful eye cream and this will be my fifth. This has amazing ingredients   apricot tint and Drops of Light Technology visibly color-correct and brighten, proprietary Anti-Aging Armour Rejuvenating Concentrate and other high-performance skin-loving ingredients—including a super ceramide complex, chrysin, licorice root, avocado and squalane—work to hydrate, smooth and refresh." These ingredients are working my eye area and making me really happy with my results. I use this twice a day morning and night after cleansing. I have seen such an improvement in my eye area because of Confidence in an Eye Cream in my fine lines and it the brightening.

Of course I smelled it and it smells like orange blossom and anything orange is heavenly to me but the fact that it also has shea butter makes it a double plus. This is described as  a "body butter {that} smooths and hydrates your skin with this skin-softening formula." I am loving the scent for one but the hydration factor is perfect for me year round. It is not overwhelming when it comes to the scent but I love that it is not heavy when I apply it onto my body. Laura Geller 20 Shades of Shadow Vol. 2

#BeautyBagDolls and #GellerGirls I was very busy shopping the ULTA Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Being beauty obsessed means I not only stuck to sale items I also picked up a lot of goodies that were not on sale but I was curious to add to my collection. I love eye shadow palettes and I am hard to please when it comes to them because I expect the best when I putting on eye shadow after all it goes on my eyelid. When I laid my eyes on the Laura Geller 20 Shades of Shadow Vol. 2 I knew I had to have it so I ordered it and after it arrived I went right to testing it out. It is beautifully packaged and ready to gift if you choose but I have sensitive eyes and there are only a few brands of eye shadows I can use without issue. Laura Geller is usually one of them.

A Beauty Bag Must!

The palette opens up to display a full beautiful mirror one basic duel ended brush and 20 shades of eye shadows that are baked in Italy. Some shades have shimmer while others don't and I love that. I love having one palette full of 20 shades to choose from 99.9% of my eye shadows I go to each and everyday are in a palette form and that is what I love. This one is no different and it is described by Ulta as "creamy, weightless finish stays crease-free all day. Wear dry for silky, smooth coverage or wet for a deeper color payoff." I must say it does go on creamy and feel weightless at first however by the end of the day it left my eyelids feeling dry and it did crease after about 6 hours. The color payoff is there no matter how you choose to wear them wet or dry. I did not love the shimmer shades because the tend to have more fall out which was disappointing and with fallout came eye irritations. I have since avoided the shimmer shades which left with the matte ones. Those were my favorite since they went on as shown. I love shadows that are true to color and that don't irate my eyes. I love them because wet or dry they looked great. Long lasting I am debating because after six hours I have a need to reapply whether I use a eye shadow primer or not and I also have a crease. That being said I don not completely regret my purchase because I still have a variety of useable shadows and for anyone who does not have sensitive eyes you have 20 beautiful shades to use. This palette has shades named Cocoa, Stone, Java, Sunstone, Calm, Storm, Sand, Forest, Vine, Plum, Claret, Dusk, Rosemist, Royal, Iris, Pewter, Quartz, Carbon, Stellar and Almond. For the $55.00 price tag anyone like me who has sensitive eyes you will have about half of the 20 shades to work with. If you have no eye sensitivity than you have 20 beautiful shades to use but note the shades fade through the day. For those reasons I have to give the Laura Geller 20 Shades of Shadow Vol. 2 a 4 $$$$$ because it is not a perfect palette for me but it is not bad by any means. This is a very glitzy and full of glamour for a  brush set, which makes me smile every time I reach for them and use them. I love how well they work in letting me apply my makeup evenly and effortlessly. I also washed them after using them for a little over a week (I know we should do it weekly) and they really held up well. No shedding at all or fraying at the sides. I laid them flat to dry and I have had no issues with them. I am so impressed that I have already ordered these for a friend for the holidays. I must say that the clutch that comes with them is extra special and I have used it to go out with getting a compliment at a recent party I went too. (they had no idea it came with a full size set of brushes) This is a really amazing set please do yourself a favor and get it before its gone!

As far as the brushes themselves they perform perfectly to apply your makeup and they are beautiful as well with ombre rose-gold handles that are not heavy at all in fact they are the most lightweight It brush I think I have used. That does not at all make this a bad thing it makes easier to take with you and travel with and I appreciate that fact so much since I travel for work a few times a month. The brush hairs themselves are not overly dense in fact they are more on the loose side, which does not bother me one bit. In fact it is something that I needed in my makeup brush wardrobe because I love the fact that the way they apply my makeup is in a airbrushed manner. I have also washed them and I am thrilled to say that they hold up beautifully to washing. I of course lay them flat to dry and I inspected them after they fully dried they were not frayed or damaged in anyway they maintained their shape and went on to apply my makeup perfectly. I love Confidence in a Cream and  my personal experience has been nothing but perfection for my imperfect skin. After the first use and just about 5 minutes after applying Confidence In A Cream to my neck, décolletage and face I noticed that it absorbed within a minute, didn't feel greasy or heavy and my fine lines around my eyes plumped up and look smooth. I also felt that my chest, neck and face had the perfect amount of moisture. After using it morning and night for about 5 days I could see that the subtle but noticeable to me fine lines on my décolletage and forehead had softened and my pores were non existent.
